I really like to give my honest opinion on whatever I buy on Amazon. For the most part I try to be positive. After all this is someone’s livelihood. But sometimes it is just not possible. This is one of those times. Sorry; not sorry. We used to eat this when I was a little girl and all through my growing up. It was a treat for me instead of the other brand known as Pork and Beans.Instead of the traditional small beans cooked in brown sugar and molasses which was a rich creamy texture, what I got was may have well been the nasty store brand from the big box store we all know.I think it might have been relabeled.I was hoping to recapture that wonderful flavor of my childhood and what I got was not even close. For the price I paid for it I could have bought a case of the well known brand that tastes similar, but not quite the same as B&M beans. I wanted my grown children to get a taste of what I was telling them about. Everyone spit it out and told me never to buy it again. My response was “Not to worry about it ever happening again.”
