First off all nothing for a puppy is chew proof so that’s an unfair evaluation question. My furry fluff balls were having a difficult time staying cool even in their mesh cage with fans and the house ac set way below my comfort level. I tried this one, avoided the other options that had gel inserts simply because of the chew factor. They slept like a charm. The panting went away and I was able to notch up a few degrees on the ac. I haven’t laundered it yet will see. They need to make one for babies as my grandson runs hot at night.

I bought 2 of these after looking at least 30 different types and brands of cooling blankets and I am not disappointed! The blanket is really cold, it does not heat up even when my puppies are laying on it. Some reviewers give the blanket low ratings because urine will soak thru it, this is not a pee pad nor do they claim that it is, some have put it on hot pavement and complain that the blanket does not stay cool, instructions state to not place it in direct sunlight and thus it is implied don't place it on hot pavement, others have complained that their puppy chewed thru the blanket, no claim is made by the seller of this blanket that aggressive chewers can't chew it up, it's a blanket made of fabric not a chew toy. The blankets keep my puppies cool, the blankets are fairly tough holding up to my puppies dragging it around on the floor and playing tug of war with them all without damage. The blankets clean up very nicely in washer, normal cycle, cold water and lowest setting on dryer. I am 100% happy with the blanket, every claim made by the seller is the truth.

I love love love this blanket. My dog has a hard time cooling down after walks and in the summer. I put this down on her bean bag and immediately jumped up and layed down. Anytime she gets warm she gets on her blanket. Tonight people were setting off fireworks and she wanted under the blanket. I had to include that picture. I haven't washed it just yet so I can't say if it cleans up nicely. I want to buy a few more for the bedroom and car.

A little thinner than expected but my Samoyed falls asleep with it instantly and is always searching for it in the house. Might have to buy a few more of these. Great for on top of dog beds. I put mine in the freezer for a bit.

I'll be honest, I bought this blanket out of desperation. This summer has been so hot and my pit bull mix was really suffering. I received the blanket on a hundred degree day and I couldn't believe how quickly the blanket became cool to the touch. My pittie loves it and stays on it all day. And after my sleepless night last night in the heat I am seriously considering getting one for myself.

My shihtzu has a booster car seat (don't judge lol) that allows him to see out the window but is actually designed for safety (his harness clips to the shoulder strap... the booster seat protects him in case of an accident). This cooling blanket is great for warm New Mexico weather. Of course it gets warm if the car is parked in the sun but it really does help keep my pup cool while the car's a/c is cooling the car down. The material has a soft, satiny feel to it. Really high quality. 10/10 recommend this item.

Soft and cool to the touch. Using this blanket for the summer for my young puppy. He seems to like it. Only thing is, I wish the blanket was larger.
