Oga FaajiAfrican Kufi Apapo Cap Hat

I found out about African-owned OGA FÀÀJÌ via MOSHOOD, an African fashion designer here in Brooklyn, New York City. He promotes an annual fashion show with a runway in July in front of his storefront. In addition to exhibiting his own product line of stuff, MOSHOOD also encourages the participation of other African-owned fashion designers to show off their creations for men, women and kids.So, enter OGA FÀÀJÌ, who not only showed off their fashion wear tops, bottoms and dresses, but also head wear. Since, I'm a photographer and shoot the event annually, I was also in the market for some African hats and I remember taking some pictures of OGA FÀÀJÌ 's headwear stuff. After reviewing the pictures I shot, I really like what OGA FÀÀJÌ has to offer. So, last summer (2018), I initially ordered the all black honeycomb design with a black felt / velvet fabric top and also the blue honeycomb design with a black felt / velvet fabric top. Those are SOOOOOO AWESOME!!!Since then OGA FÀÀJÌ has expanded their product line and recently, in September 2019, I bought the all brown honeycomb design with a brown felt / velvet fabric top. And now with this purchase, I got the burgundy honeycomb design with a burgundy felt / velvet fabric top and also the white honeycomb design with a black felt / velvet fabric top.My baseball cap size is 7 5/8 and so with these hats, the MEDIUM size is the one that fits me perfectly without being too tight or too loose; they fit just right. Also, the craftsmanship is VERY NICE and not cheap looking or feeling, the interior stitching is excellent and OGA FÀÀJÌ's eXpansion of their color style selections are ABSOLUTELY OUTSTANDING! In total I have 5 of these honeycomb designed African kufi hats and couldn't be happier. They are very much a head turner and I get a number of compliments from folks as I'm walking out in the street whether I wear a traditional African outfit or if I dress down a little with these hats on.A quality product all around at a reasonable price point! EXTREMELY RECOMMENDED!!!

I love this hat. It is very much like a Senegalese senator's hat offered by some who sell African clothes. I have bought a somewhat similar hat but this has more style and some of these hats blend two colors -- white on the outside with small circles that show a black color inside. It is of very good quality and wears well with a black or white outfit if you buy this one. There are a variety of colors offered by the company. It is not inexpensive. Make sure you get the correct size. I wear a 7 3/8ths size hat, but I ended up with an XS (extra Small).

1. I bought medium before, and it was too large. I went for a small size, which is still the same as a medium. How do I believe that it is not large that were relabelled as medium and small and sold?2. I ordered for brown but got black for the second order.

Fits kinda okay but the material is not firm at all. I kept it for the design. It is over priced, I’ve seen similar or better for less than this.
