Using to start my podcast and it's very nice

I didnt have my hopes set high for this vlogging kit seeing as I paid such an unbelievably low price for it. However, this set is very well built and travel-friendly. I love the shell case that came included, which I wasn't expecting, so the surprise was very nice! The microphone picks up crystal clear as long as I am using the correct cord for the device, because it comes with one for a phone and one for a tablet, which makes a difference if you don't want static or feedback in your audio. It's easily assembled, as well as disassembled, and can be quickly packed into its tidy little case and conveniently carried for on-the-go. The only issue that I had with it so far is the fact that my audience tends to get a static noise when I use the wind muff for some reason, but I might just be applying it incorrectly or something. The only upgrade that I could see being a major appeal point would be a micro ring light or something attached as well, but at its price point, I seriously can't complain. The seller did an excellent job at delivering the item in great shape and in a timely manner while keeping communication as to its shipping estimates. As an overall purchase, I would definitely recommend this to a fellow streamer if they ever asked for my opinion.

I bought this microphone for my boyfriends birthday and when he connected to both his phone and camera the sound didn’t improve if anything it got worse. Never buying this again. EVER

Here’s a pretty handy little kit for setting up your video station using your phone.For under 40 bucks you get a pretty darn good microphone, cables and stand. The way the stand was designed is nice in that it can support the phone and microphone while sitting on a table, but the legs also fold to be held comfortably while doing a walk and talk or using it to record others. The very directional mic can be shielded from the wind with the included foam or dead cat cover.Cords are included for connection to phone or camera with 3.5mm ends. One little heads-up if you have a newer iPhone. You’ll need a headphone adapter to plug in the included 3.5mm cord to the Lightning connection of your phone.Traveling or storing the kit? It all packs into a compact case.

The microphone for the camera, the audio was so low and you had to go close to the camera for it to be actually steady. I don’t recommend if it’s for your camera.

This has has extensive use and has worked great! The wind filter works as intended, and the microphone gives you a much more real and full sound than a phone microphone would. Great for home videos, vloggers, or those who want to step their video photography up without spending a fortune. Very happy with this

I ordered this Vitopal tripod microphone kit because I occasionally make videos playing acoustic and electric guitar, but have just been using the built in microphone on my cell phone.I made a short video playing an acoustic guitar using this tripod and microphone, and the increase in sound quality is absolutely amazing! I wish I'd had this before.It comes with a foam cover for the microphone, and a furry cover for outside to block wind noise. Also a nice case and bag are included, as are mic cables for both cell phones or a DSLR camera. The tripod itself is very sturdy, and folds up to be used hand-held.My phone fits in it very securely, and I can rotate it vertically or horizontally.Overall, everything in the kit seems very well-designed, and high quality. The only thing "missing" is a Bluetooth remote, but I already have one, and many folks probably already have them as well.I also believe the price point is very fair for everything that is included.

I selected the Vitopal VM-i2 video microphone kit for smartphones and cameras for my son and daughter to use with their high school video projects. My son sometimes calls the basketball games on the radio (and streaming) and then interviews the coach afterwards. When he does, it's often in a noisy hallway and there is a lot shaking. My daughter also does video projects and interviews for her media class and for the TV station.This kit features a small "boom" style microphone. I like that there was no extra battery required. It worked great with her DSLR camera, and along with the tripod should work well for interviews and remove the need for an additional person to hold the camera.My son tried the handheld function with a cell phone for the postgame recording. While the fluffy windscreen may look like a dead squirrel, it does a great job of cutting down on ambient noise, wind, etc. The "shotgun" style of mic allowed the sound recording to be more 'directional', so it picked up voices much better. The kit says the mic features "Intelligent Noise Reduction", but I'm not sure how that works. I presume it's built into the microphone.Overall, this is a nice little kit with one fatal flaw... the cell phone and DSLR jacks feature 3.5mm jacks on both ends. But no iPhone since the iPhone 7 features such a jack. As such, I had to purchase a $15 adapter (3.5mm > lightning) to allow it to work with his phone. I feel like in this day and time, given the ubiquity of iPhones, that might be something that could have (or should have) been included with the kit. That said, it did work without issue.For the price, this is a nice little kit for vloggers, or even for those who are recording from a distance and need more stability and a better microphone that is more directional. Would be great for recording athletic events, recitals, or graduations -- especially if you have a full size tripod (this will mount on it). The LED light mount on the side would be helpful, too -- I'd love to see this kit include a small light! The portable case makes it easy to store and keep protected. Highly recommended!
