Expensive but worth it
I'll cut to the chase. My dog eats it without hesitation, and his poops are solid. Win-win.

Picky Eater Success!
I have an amazing pug with an incredibly particular palate. I’ve tried numerous brands and By Nature is the favorite. My dog loves all three flavors and I love all the ingredients.

My dogs like it and it’s easy for them to digest
By Nature Pet Foods Grain Free Dog Food, Lamb & Turkey Meal Recipe, is made in the USA and my dogs like it.This kibble is slow cooked which seems to make a difference in taste appeal to dogs. I have two picky eaters and one that will eat anything, even though she has the most sensitive digestive system. This lamb and turkey meal recipe hits the right smell and taste notes for them and it is easy for all three of them to digest. The size of the kibble is about a half inch in diameter. I thought this might be too big for my three pound dog, but these are thin pieces of kibble that she has no problem eating. The ingredient list is quite long but the top five in order are: lamb, turkey meal, yellow peas, lentils and fava beans. This food does NOT contain an potato, chicken, eggs, corn, soy or by-products.The guaranteed analysis is 29% crude protein, 17% crude fat, 4% crude fiber, 10% moisture, 2.2% omega 6, 0.98% omega 3. I was happy to see that this grain free food also includes taurine.By Nature Pet Foods Grain Free Dog Food,Lamb & Turkey Meal Recipe, is a premium dog food with a good nutritional blend and healthy ingredients. I feel confident feeding it to my three dogs and it helps that they really enjoy eating it.

A high-quality, grain-free, high-protein dog food for the active dog ...
Feeding my animals the highest quality food I can afford is a must do. An obligation actually. The ingredient label shows the care that went into the formula. Usually, as with my own food, I prefer a short and sweet label. This one, however, shows everything needed if one prefers a grain-free diet. It’s packed with protein with a whopping 29%, something that’s perfect for an active dog. Oh, and the first ingredients are turkey and duck meal. The beans (garbanzo, fava, and lentil) round out the high-quality proteins. Both little Weezer and Storm scrambled to sample the By Nature, Super Fusion mix. Needless to say, they loved it and were asking for more. There are lots of ingredients targeted toward the overall health on a dog. There are things like pumpkin, highly recommended to keep the digestive system moving. The mistake some people make is using canned pumpkin, which actually can upset the system more than help, but I digress. This food seems to cover all the bases. There are a couple I don’t care for such as rosemary extract. It’s simply because when I had a dog with seizure activity, it was one I avoided. I will overlook it if it’s dead last in the ingredients label in treats, but it’s in the middle of this formula. Check the ingredients label carefully if you have any reservations (I’ll replicate it below). This is definitely a high-quality, grain-free, high-protein dog food for the active dog. Take a pass if you have an older dog as such a high level of protein can tax the kidney function.GUARANTEED ANALYSIS:Crude Protein: MIN. 29.00%Crude Fat: MIN. 17.00%Crude Fiber: MAX. 4.00%Moisture: MAX. 10.00%Omega 6: MIN. 2%Omega 3: MIN. 0.90%Total Microorganisms: 66 Billion CFUINGREDIENTS:Turkey, Duck Meal, Garbanzo Beans, Lentils, Fava Beans, Canola Oil (Preserved With Mixed Tocopherols), Tapioca Starch, Turkey Meal, Natural Flavor, Whitefish Meal, Menhaden Fish Oil (Preserved With Mixed Tocopherols), Dried Alfalfa, Tomato Pomace, Lecithin, Coconut Oil, Monosodium Phosphate, Dicalcium Phosphate, Dl-Methionine, Salt, Apple Cider Vinegar, Choline Chloride, Chicory Root Extract, Pumpkin Meal, Dried Kelp, Taurine, Dried Goji Berry, Dried Ginger, Dried Turmeric, Dried Spinach, Dried Blueberry, Natural Mixed Tocopherols,Calcium Carbonate, Rice Hulls, Vitamin E Supplement, L-Ascorbyl-2-Polyphosphate, Silicon Dioxide, Vegetable Oil, Rosemary Extract, Niacin Supplement, Dried Kelp, Mineral Oil, D-Calcium Pantothenate, Riboflavin Supplement, Vitamin B12 Supplement, Thiamine Mononitrate, Vitamin A Acetate, Pyridoxine Hydrochloride, Citric Acid, Vitamin D3 Supplement, Biotin, Folic Acid, Potassium Chloride, Ferrous Sulfate, Zinc Sulfate, Zinc Proteinate, Iron Proteinate, Copper Sulfate, Zinc Oxide, Manganese Sulphate, Manganese Proteinate,Copper Proteinate, Manganous Oxide, Calcium Iodate, Sodium Selenite, Dried Lactobacillus Casei Fermentation Product, Dried Lactobacillus Acidophilus Fermentation Product, Dried Bifidobacterium Animalis Fermentation Product, Dried Lactobacillus Reuteri Fermentation Product.Caloric Content(calculated) ME: 3689 kcal/kg, 419 kcal/cup

Dogs love it
If my dogs had a say in how I was rating this I am sure they would give it 5 stars since I have 7 small dogs and this is the first time I have ever had all 7 accept a new food without reservation and gobble it down and ask for more. Now, full disclosure, my dogs are fed a homemade diet for the most part, but I do like to make sure there are foods available that they will eat when I am unable to make their food for whatever reason like last spring when meat was being rationed because of Covid. That's when I like to know I have a commercial alternative that my dogs will accept. Now, given my dogs loving this food I would be tempted to give it 5 stars as well BUT in reading the ingredients I am a little concerned about the heavy handed use of legumes and peas. I do like that Lamb is the first ingredient and I don't mind the turkey meal, I know "meal" gets a bad rap but really that's if it's a by product meal, a pure "turkey meal" is really the meat itself cooked down into an easy to digest, high protein source ingredient so I am okay with that. All in all this seems a decent ingredient list except for peas and legumes and pea meal being so high on the list, which is kind of a cheap cop out. But I like the size, this is a flat, easy to crunch kibble that even my 3.5 lb maltese who is missing some teeth was able to handle. And apparently the flavor is great if my dogs are any indication so I have no problem with this being a good back up food for my crew.
