I bought this cover to help keep the pool clean and to make the pool less enticing to anybody who might want to take an unauthorized dip in our pool. It's pretty easy to use. I would hesitate to try putting it on with just one person, though. The string in the pocket along the edge of the cover pulls tight enough I feel the cover will stay secure. It's loose enough, though, I can dip in a measuring cup to get a water sample and to add chemicals as needed at a time when I do not yet plan on using the pool.

Even though the reviews weren't great I needed to buy a cover...so I did. I really like it so far. I had to get into the ice cold pool to do it myself, but once I got it figured out it was fairly easy (better if you have 2 people). I have it on for now, but now that its stretched out some I'm going to put some floaties under it. You can't see if you have the room until you get it on. I love that it has the edges to fit over..and it is perfect for my 16'intex. I like the rubbery feel of it and the holes will help when it rains. I got some plastic vice grips to keep it on over the winter months for when the winds blows...but this is so much better than the one that came with the pool and it's better than a tarp because it fits! I do recommend getting some clamps to help it stay on if you get windy days. I used 6.

I should have listened to other reviewers…. Upon first use, I LOVED the cover. It was lightweight and floated such that I could put the cover on my round 16 ft above ground Intex pool by myself. That was a huge win.But, I quickly FELL OUT OF LOVE the first time it rained. The holes are far too close to the center of this particular cover. As a result, when it rained, the cover became weighted down sufficiently that the water IN my pool came up through the holes causing the lightweight cover to sink. Ultimately, all of the filthy rain water and leaves, bugs, etc. that had collected on top of the cover mixed with my pool water. It was impossible to remove the cover without it falling into the pool because of the volume of water (perhaps 8 inches if not more) that weighed it down. I ended up having to spend large sums of money to buy chemicals to EXTRA shock my pool.Holes in covers are not bad, but the holes need to be much farther from the center!

So far so good it's staying on our pool well fits well was very easy for me to get on the pool by myself which with other brands is not an option the quality seems to be good I couldn't care less what it looks like as long as it does the job decent value for the money thickness is perfect for our Southern Winters

This thing had multiple holes and rips in less than a month. It was pretty easy to get on and off but if it snagged on anything it would rip. Pretty disappointing. Giving it 3 stars bc it was fairly inexpensive so I guess you get what you pay for.

I have been through 4 pool covers with my summer waves pool. Each one I have purchased previously were all made of tarp like material, which would eventually dry rot and fall apart into the pool. I live in Florida and the sun here doesn’t give a shit about you, so have a thin pool cover sitting directly in the sun over my pool everyday it’s getting baked to death. I can gladly say this pool cover is made of a different material. It’s kind of a rubbery cloth. In the heat of the sun it becomes pliable and stretchy which is concerning for the future but, for now it’s holding up. The string isn’t too sturdy and without clasps to hold onto the pool legs, hard wind tore this off the pool. I took the clasps off my old cover and attached them to this one with zip ties. Hope this lasts through at least a year.

Great material. make sure when purchasing you get the rite size. i got it to big. but overall its perfect to keep pool clear

This may be a nice pool cover, but it's also a fantastic cover for a 15 foot trampoline! I tried a cover sold as a 15 ft trampoline cover, and it was barely big enough to cover the surface of the trampoline. There was almost no extra material to secure it. This pool cover provides the extra material needed to secure the cover under the trampoline frame, and the drawstring closure secures the cover under the entire circumference of the frame. The drainage holes also make this an ideal trampoline cover.
