I was pleasantly surprised by my purchase of this lock. It is study, compact but not "clunky" and easy to use. I have bad arthritis in my hands. Our old locks were very hard to use. They were heavy and impossible for me to close. This lock is easy to open and close, yet secure.

This was reasonably priced and exactly what I was looking for! Three keys is a great accessory.

I needed a padlock for a UPack relocube (shipping container) and this fit it perfectly. It came with three keys. It was very sturdy and kept my stuff secured. I only used it for about a week so I can’t comment on long term use.

It does not freeze much where I live, so I can't really say how it would work in severe weather. But I wanted a lock where the key is easy to insert and turn, and the shackle is reasonably easy to lock. This fit the bill.I was concerned at first as it was not that easy to insert the key, but that was due to them not polishing the keys after they cut them. After a few uses, they now work beautifully.I have been really let down by Master lately. They used to be good, but the last few I have bought, have been very hard to use, and at a premium price anyway. I needed to find some alternative. This is it. Long live Puroma!I do hate keys where they did not put a hole in the right spot. But I have a drill press.If the people at Puroma are listening, I would suggest a somewhat larger key and properly polished after cutting, with a dang hole in the right place.If you are very serious about protecting something, then maybe you need a thicker shackle, but I am just using it on a gate anyone determined could just climb over.The length is good because I can move the lock with one hand, and it will balance itself at the base of the shackle and I can get the key in with one hand. I often have something else in one hand, so this is great. You can't do that if it is on a chain, but it works on the little things on the chain link gates that lift up and down.If the shackle was thicker though, without a larger body, this would work better.Puroma is a stupid name, though, unless you sell aroma therapy, or facial cleanses. Gordon, Gideon, Samson, Gilgamesh, I could come up with a hundred better names.
