If you’re not familiar with this sealant it only hardens once everything is tightened up, it’s like a heavy grease when you apply it. I’ve had excellent results using it on split engine cases and as a replacement for a base gasket when you are trying to bump up the compression on something like a chainsaw or other small engine. What i use it for most is on paper type gaskets. A light coat on both sides of a new gasket and it’ll never leak. In a pinch if you pull something with a paper gasket and it don’t tear you can apply this to the exposed side of the gasket and re use it. I’ve done this quite a few times and never had a leak. It is better than using Silicone/RTV in a lot of applications. However I would not recommend it for any application that has a rubber or steel gasket.

Does the job very well and being anaerobic it will not block ports or any other hole.
