Luminous delight
I've been looking for the perfect hallway light and this is the one. It's just the right size with just the right amount of light (I used a 40 watt Edison bulb). The frosted shade / "glass" diffuses the light for a nice soft glow. I just wish the on/off switch was a little closer to the base of the lamp so you don't have to reach down to find it.

Nice but not what I wanted
The stand is more gray in real life. I was wanting the wood look like the picture.

PERFECTION!!
I NEVER write reviews, but I love these! They arrived quickly, were packaged well, and in perfect condition, but most important, they are exactly what I wanted! They look great and provide the perfect amount of light in a dark spot of the room. The panes are cloudy to allow soft light through without a harsh glare. They add to the decor I already had. Great size too! I was going to make my own, but they did it, with everything I needed, without the cost or hassle.

Beautiful lantern
I use this lantern in my kitchen. Great use as a night light. Sturdy construction and easy to assemble. I use a flickering light bulb and that is a nice touch!

Very cheap, poor quality, not worth the price.
Absolutely not worth it. The wooden stand is wood. But it is painted grey and not like in the image. The paint on the wood has rubbed off on furniture AND hands when assembling it. The light fixture covering does not sit correctly in the fixture has very unsightly gaps. I have returned this, did not even want a replacement.

Perfect!
These lamps are perfect. A little challenging to get the cages on but that does not deter me from recommending them. My only suggestion would be to absolutely use the amber color old school light bulbs in them. Anything else will be too bright and not look good.
