Q: Can you use hot water?

I suggest no, this container is not made for hot water. A little bit warm my be okay.

Q: I purchased two of these bottles, I received my pink one yesterday and when I opened it the inside basket was broken. Are there replacement parts?

Just reply to an email you have or will receive asking if you are satisfied with the product, they will reply and replace the broken part immediately, I had a broken part and with in days I received a replacement for it. Very satisfied with their response, etc.

I doubt the part can be found. You qwill probably need to start over with a whole new product.

Q: how do you open the cover on the infuser does it twist up and off?

The top screws off. The clear piece where the drinking spout is clicks open. The top of the infuser screws on.
