About 20-22 inches tall and about 12-13 inches wide both ways, and the cushion is about 11 x 9 inches.

Q: this looks like the ticket for aging hunters. Where would you get straps to secure to a backpack?

You could rig something up from the shoulder straps thats what i do. I enjoy this seat but it's heavy. If your carrying this alot I would not recommend it. If it's gonna be stationary then it's a good buy.
