Hot Springs Prodigy Replacement Spa Cover and Hot Tub Cover - Brown

Our old spa cover had become so heavy that it ripped and broke the cover lifter. We got a quote from a local Hot Springs dealer asking over $400 for a factory cover, so I'm very glad we found this on Amazon! The freight delivery was prompt, the driver called to let us know of his arrival and met me at a nearby parking lot as he would not have been able to deliver to our home (semi truck). We have been using it for over a month now and it's so nice to be able to lift and remove the cover by myself, I don't even miss the cover lifter. My 8 year old can open the spa and while she cannot lift the entire cover, she can slide it onto the deck. The vinyl is identical to the original cover, and the stitching is heavy duty and looks like it will hold up just fine. While this cannot be used with a cover lifter, I don't think you need one!EDITED TO ADD: The cover is still very light, and has blown off during two storms, so I highly suggest installing the clips if possible. Otherwise, it is still in great shape, and we're quite happy with it.

I ordered this product before I left on vacation ,but my husband was still at home. We received this cover right on time. The trucking company called the house and left message that they would like to delivery by 5:00 pm and would it be ok to leave in carport? I called them back since all messages go to my email. Told them my husband would be there anytime after 3:00 pm ,they came right at 5:00 pm .Very nice delivery person. The cover is exactly as pictured ,very light weight and nice quality in workmanship. Fits perfect, but it was matched to our brand of spa.Husband had to replace our end of lockdowns ,had no problems matching. We love this cover since our last one weight at least 75 ll or better from calcium buildup . Will order again if our spa last another 15 years!

It’s doing the job. We live in a very windy area. We are using sand bags on top because if us very light and we fear the wind could swoop it away.

Waited to write a review to see how it would hold up. Already has a tear on the top and hasn't even gone through winter weather yet. Disappointed in quality of top. I guess you get what you pay for. Wish now I had spent more money for better quality.

I don't expect this cover to last very long as it as the exterior is starting to fade and age. Other surfaces exposed to vapor from the spa seem to bebleaching out. Low chlorine is used; there is an ozone generator. When I received the cover, I noticed that the thickness of the material was thinner and the stitching was uneven causing the material to pucker in several places. For $100 more I could have had a custom cover made from a local company that I purchased from before and got a cover that is twice the quality. I was influence by the quicker delivery date on this cover. You get what you pay for.

It fits well, the insulation is not all that good and it's not meant for an area that gets winter weather. The snow melts on top of it. Ice builds up and just not a good item for Montana or a snowy and cold area.

This spa cover is really nice and wasn't as expensive as others I've seen. It's so light! It's nice that I can now lift it without asking my husband for help.

Great top
