Best pan overall! Light weight, non-stick, quick heating & oven safe! With a lid!
The original Copper Chef pan design is waaaay better than imitation designs. This one heats quickly and evenly, then cools quickly. It can go in the oven and is very scratch resistant. You can't take a fork to it like the Gothum Steel pans, but I don't have a Gothum Steel pan so I can't write a full comparision. I did buy the Red Copper pan though, and it's not nearly as good.I have an induction cooktop and this round Copper Chef pan heats well. I'd like to try the square pan next to compare. In this round Copper Chef pan, I've saute'd vegies, made an omlet, scrambeled eggs, fried bacon, hamburger, and pork chops. This pan can go right in the oven and i even used it to roast marrow bones so I could make bone broth. Here's what I recommend: even if this is a ceramic coated non-stick pan, I use plastic or silicone utensils to cook on it. Buy yourself silicone covered tongs, a spatula, a silicon or plastic wisk, and couple white hand towels. When you first buy it, clean it in luke warm water with the soft side of a sponge. Don't ever pour hot water into this pan. And even though it says it's dishwasher safe, the best way to clean this is to just soak it in warm soapy water and use a soft sponge to clean it.When you finish using the pan, if you wait to clean it and leave gritty food particles in the pan it will be more difficult to clean. So before it cools down all the way, get a wet hand towel and hold it with your tongs and wipe out the inside of the pan. Then after it cools you can scrub it with a soft sponge.Yes I do use avacado, coconut oil or butter to cook in it. You may not have to depending on the moisture level of your food and depending on how how you make the pan, but I recommend using oil to make it cook better. IMHO. Don't scramble eggs on high heat, don't try to cook eggs sunny side up on anything more than low heat. If your heat gets too high too fast, then the sunny side up egg will still stick. So cooking without butter or oil takes longer because you have to cook with low heat. It's very safe: PFOA, PFOS, & PTFE free which is the standard in the industry. So far, no evidence has been produced in peer reviewed studies to show that copper is released from the pan. Oven safe up to 800 degrees. Just use a towel to grab the handle from the oven. If cooking on the stove, the handle can be grabbed up to an inch from the pan itself. The lifetime warrantee is only when you buy it from the Copper Chef website, and it's more expensive than Amazon. Otherwise it does have a 60-day money-back guarantee. This pan has a steel induction plate built into the bottom of the pan so it can be used on an induction cooktop. It's innercore is aluminum covered by a copper colored ceramic coating (Cerami-tech) which is apparently patented so other pans can't exactly duplicate the construction. Others will use titanium or remove the induction plate to imitate this design but it's not as good as Copper Chef. The company is American but the pan is manufactured in China, so that is a slight complaint of mine and I'm sure that Trump will force American companies to pay higher tarifs for manufacturing outside of the USA, nonetheless, it's the best pan overall.

Great value / nearly non-stick - but still a cheap and thin pan let's be honest
Nice product for the price. Has held up very well in about 6 months of daily use for cooking eggs and grilled cheese sandwiches, chicken, etc. This isn't a miracle pan, a lean piece of chicken or something of that nature is going to stick if placed directly on the pan over high heat but if you don't use oil but I'm fairly confident there is NO pan that is 100% non-stick for every item of food you're ever going to cook (so ignore those fools who write bad reviews in situations like that).I rarely have to heavily scrub the pan, 99% of the time I can clean it with a rubber spatula and paper towel. It's a nice product, I use it more than my stainless steal viking 7 layer uber high end pans simply because it's easy to cook with and clean. But, it is very very thin and therefore won't cook like a heavy / quality aluminum or cast iron pan so keep that in mind if you think that 12" version will cook evenly, it probably won't.In the end, if you lightly spray cooking oil and aren't moronic with you're cooking you shouldn't experience any major sticking at all and will be pleasantly surprised with it's longevity of the non-stick surface. If you think for $20 you have found the miracle pan that will cook all foods with zero spray and stick, then you're on another planet and should probably just go out to eat and never use your kitchen again (joking, but not).

Can't beat the price, great pan w/Lid!
Got this great little pan with a lid for a fantastic price! First important thing I searched for is ,100% Safe: PFOA, PTFE, and PFOS-Free! I cooked my first experiment meal, lemon chicken. Skinless chicken , zero oil. The chicken browned nicely. It came out really yummy. On my electric glass top range I started out with a medium heat, then noticed it was too high so I turned down the heat to medium low. Perfect temperature. Thus saves on energy. I am the dishwasher, so it cleaned up easily, so nice! I made sure to follow instructions as to the care for this pan. Tomorrow is the real test, over easy eggs. Then grilled cheese sandwich for lunch. If that goes like I am counting on, I think I am going to really enjoy this pan and have a love affair with it... Shipped on time! Hope they will make a 12" with a lid soon. Thank you Tristar! And now today a few months later. This pan is doing pretty good. I make sure not to use a high heat. I use Med. Low. To Med. Then adjust. It is not the best egg pan, but it's ok, I put a "tiny drop" of oil in the pan. . I heat the pan a little bit first then put eggs in, cover, cook low heat they don't stick. It is better than using all the oil I was before I got this pan for sure! Cooked pork chops last night. Zero oil, they were very good. But I think the honey moon is over... For the money, and make sure you follow the care instructions, it's a great little pan for the money. I may get the larger Sq. pan w/ Lid. ??

Gas stove owners : do not buy this product
Gas stove owners : do not buy this product. The non stick quality was lost after 10 days. Never burned. Never used on high heat. Unable to return it. The seller never answered my claim. Very poor quality.

Buena calidad y apariencia pero sí se pega la comida
Mi única queja es que sí se le pega la comida, algo simple, como el huevo frito, esa fue la principal razón por la que lo compré.
