Great for making yeast starters for my home brews..Add half cup of this done to 1000ml of purified water and boild for twenty minutes..cool in ice bath and then pitch your yeast.....the yeast love it! Let them do their thing for a day or so till activity calns down..Some times I just toss the whole 1000ml of yeast and starter into the wort...other times I'll toss in fridge to get the yeast to drop and pour off half or so of then toss in the rest to the wort...Always had great beers when using this as a starter...plus if you miss your OG or SG when brewing you can add some of this to your wort to hit the recipe numbers....works every time and won't affect your brew unless you have to go overboard with adding this light dme.
