Great product

As a road biker I deal with flats .... CONSTANTLY!!! I got these to fix the small holes in tubes. I was very skeptical that they'd work, but .... they do. They are not as good as a regular patch but they do the job and are so much easier than normal patching.

I have used these a few times over the past couple of years after decades of using the old fashioned glue-based patches. I got really good at those, so it's almost a let down how much easier these things are to use, and I have yet to have one fail on me. I had one tire punctured multiple times by goat-head thorns when my son rode his bike over a dry, grassy area, and these things made quick work of making that tube usable again. Also, these kits are so small, I have one in every bag I ever use while biking.

I ran out of glue for my regular patches, and I’m too frugal to buy more tubes just because of a pinch flat. I’m the 3-patches-max type of guy.I was absolutely skeptical about these patches because “glue is needed to make them stick”, but the 3M adhesive they put on these things work so well, I may have found my new go-to patch.I patched about 6 tubes with these and they all still held air after a day. The one in my rear mountain bike tire is still doing well. Even after it was partially submerged during some river crossings. No leaks detected. Bonus: I like how, when properly adhered, they almost disappear onto the tube. Let’s you know it’s good and stuck.

I bought these to repair an tiny hole that was causing my queen size air mattress to completely taco me within a few hours. Worked great! Remember to use the included sand paper to rough the area around the hole first before you apply the patch. The patch is to be applied to the outside of the air mattress for those who have never patched one before.I'm actually writing this review about 6 months after I fixed the hole, and its still holding strong and looks good.

They are quick and easy to use, the material is very thin and elastic. BUT if the puncture is more than just a thorn it might give up and pierce due to the air pressure and the hole in the tire, happened to me in a road bike at 80psi, the puncture was probably a glass but was not big, maybe under a millimeter aire pirced the patch as it was exactly where the tire had the matching hole.I think these are good for the quick repair out there, but might be a good idea to replace them once you get home with a better patch. I still carry them with me, if I get a large puncture I will probably add a piece of paper or something similar between the patch and the tire.

If you still use tubes, these patches are so much more convenient and effective than traditional ones. I have bought dozens of boxes over the years and 95% of the time they work first time. Their great and if I ever go tubeless, I'll miss them!
