comes in a large box and is heavy, would not recommend bringing on plane, have it shipped directly to where its going

Q: Does it have any particle board?

The backing is not a hardwood. It is a type of flimsier board but not sure what it is exactly. I've had it almost a month and my daughter hasn't torn it up yet, she is pretty hard on her toys so if there was an issue with it I would have noticed by now. The frame itself is all wood no particle board so if you are worried about stability it's pretty sturdy
