Decent protein shake
I've tried both the chocolate and vanilla flavour and like them both. Mixes easily and tastes good, not too sweet. Would buy again

I don't like the sweetener taste
I bought this vegan protein powder, as I had gas issues with Whey protein. However, I was not really able to drink it as the sweetener they use (stevia) game nausea. I only used it for less than a week, and finally bought whey protein powder. I don't really recommend.

Decent enough product though I wish it came in an unflavored version as it’s rather sweet tasting for me. However, that’s a matter of personal taste. My wife likes it. The size is also small. Doesn’t last long.

I've tried numerous brands of plant based protein and typically default back to Orgain and Vega Sport as my regular supplemental source of the macro nutrient. That was until now. Optimum Nutrition got it right with their first attempt at plant protein powder. First of all, its a straight forward protein powder, unlike Vega Sport, which has a few extras like probiotics and turmeric. This helps to keep the price down and more competitive as Vega Sport is more than $2 per serving. I bought a bottle at $21 from GNC via Amazon, which is just over a $1 per serving (19 servings in the bottle). For a $1 a serving, Optimum Nutritions plant protein is a bargain at 24g of protein per serving and providing a complete amino acid profile. Where ON's plant protein shines is taste and texture. Orgain has always been my favorite protein (plant or otherwise) as its creamy and the right balance of flavor and sweetness (the creamy chocolate flavor is my go to flavor). ON's isn't as creamy nor is the chocolate flavor as strong, but ON did a great job masking the earthy taste typically associated with plant protein and having a lighter weight on the tongue (similar to coconut milk) making it easy to drink when mixed with water alone. This will be my main plant protein going forward because its a good value (~$1 per serving for 24g protein/complete amino acid profile/organic), the taste is delicious and well balanced, and the texture makes it easily drinkable.

I recently decided to get swole and joined a gym. After a short time, I realized that my feline frame needed some beef and bought a bag of whey protein from my favorite bulk store. The taste was great; the constant farting not so much. My wife started sleeping in a different room due to the gas leak occurring whilst we slept. It turns out that pungent sulfurous odors do not lead to lightning rounds of love-making. I, being wholly committed to getting swole af, refused to adjust my protein intake patterns. This ended, however, on a stormy night when my wife came into our bedroom, which she had abdicated weeks before, and presented me with an ultimatum: “It’s me or the whey.” I called her bluff and chose the whey protein. She packed her things and moved out the next morning. I slept in an our empty loft for a full week, relishing in the freedom of protein shakes and epic farts, but alas, in the end, I felt so alone. I wanted her back and was ready to change my flatulent ways. With hesitation and many tears, I tossed the bag of whey protein that had initiated the demise of our marriage. I ran to the local nutrition store and picked out this plant-based protein, believing it would stymie the ubiquitous squeaks resonating from my bottom half. Success! My farts have nearly ceased entirely and I’m still putting on some bulk (but not quite as much as when I was taking the whey protein). A few weeks ago I surprised my wife at her new apartment downtown, determined to get her back at any cost necessary. Confident now that my flatulence had abated, I snuck in through the bathroom window to surprise her. And find her I did. She was lying in bed, spasmodically writhing in the arms of another man. Having just taken two servings of plant-based protein, I grabbed the man cuckolding me by the back of the head and threw him out the window. My wife and I are now in therapy working through our issues. The plant-based protein has been met with relief, as she has agreed to come back to our loft. As for the whey protein, you have been warned: It can ruin your life!
