I bought this so I could take photos when sailing, so there was no risk in dropping the phone overboard. It was great, easy to fix to the case and simple to use. I used it around 10 times over a few weeks. Unfortunately the tab split and broke off after a couple of months, and for most of that time it wasn't being used, so it's just not robust enough to survive everyday phone use when not on a lanyard.

Provided you have the correct phone cover (which I have) this is great. Now I have phone with me all the time with quick easy access. Less chance of leaving it behind. I love it.

Not what I expected

Lanyard was black and so was the tether .. picture showed a clear tether that was the only reason I wanted it

Got this after I tried one of the rubber band ones. This seems a lot more secure than those. If one corner of the rubber ones comes off the whole phone will fall out. Not on this. Will use when I go skiing.

Gives me that little extra length when using the phone
