Surprisingly Well Made and Great Quality!
These were actually much better quality toys than I expected. The parachutes are sturdy, as are the little guys dangling from them. My kids have had endless fun tossing these from our stairs, their play-yard, down their sledding hills on our property, and from our deck outside, which is quite elevated. The toys right themselves easily/parachute down really well even if you just sling 'em out there, and have withstood tons of abuse from my really active kiddos. :) It was also extra fun using these at night, because they do indeed glow in the dark. We have a fire pit that we use often outside, and my youngest loves tossing it around (not near the fire, obviously) while we are out there dining/roasting marshmallows/hanging out around the fire in the evening/at night. They have gotten chewed on a little bit by our dog (who decided glowing little men parachuting from our deck must be captured and destroyed), stomped on by our kids, thrown around in all sorts of circumstances, accidentally left out in the rain and snow, and still they endure like the troopers that they are. :) I have 2 kiddos, so it is always nice to get 2 in a pack so they don't have to squabble over them.

Parachute requires strong throwing arm
This parachute toy is a lot of fun, but it is not suitable for young children. They simply do not have the arm strength to throw the toy high enough to allow sufficient time and height for the parachute to open and float back down. When used by somebody with a strong throwing arm, the toy is great! Unlike other toy parachutes, the design of this one makes tangling of parachute lines impossible. Although the parachute is supposed to glow, we were unable to detect any glowing.

Works great. Better than parachutes with individual attachment strings.
Just like all the other reviews, I think these parachutes are far superior to the type that have individual strings that attach the figure to the parachute. I was concerned that the parachute would not "draw" correctly, or enough to have the figure drop slowly, but it really works well. No chance of a tangle unless the figure ends up on top of the chute when you throw it. The chute material appears to be a very thin rip-stop nylon, which is much better than the plain plastic chutes. I end up folding the chute and wrapping the cord around the chute prior to throwing it in the air to get maximum height before filling with air. I have not tried the other methods others have suggested using to get the chute higher. For young kids, it is best to let them just throw them from a porch that has some elevation.

Jump, Jump
I bought this for my son because we have a very high stair well and other outdoor places to use this. This comes in a plastic tube and the little parachute man is plastic as well, pretty durable, he can get a little scratched up depending what surface he drops on. There is one man and chute per pack. The misleading thing is this man really doesn't glow. We have the green one and he is just a really bright neon color, but does not glow in the dark. The chute is pretty durable, it is black and green to match, again, no glowing which is kind of a bummer. We have used it many times indoors and outdoors. Does not tangle too easily, but sometimes the parachute takes a long time to open. If this was a real man he would have died a long time ago from some brutal falls. The wind sometimes makes him very dizzy as well. The price is not terrible for what you get, I just wish it was slightly a bit better working. My 4 year old though loves this, and it can entertain him for a long time, which is a win win for me. Go ahead and purchase this, but take real parachute lessons from a professional, not all of us have plastic heads..

Fun at the Park and It Always Opens
These products are great fun in the park with kids running to catch them, learning to throw them up. There are less expensive ones available that rely on gravity's influence on a very light little toy person in order to open up. These are made in such a way to always open. I will update this review if i get the chance to try it out at night, but for now I am very satisfied with how they fly and the sturdiness of the build. It is not a problem with the make or the product but I do wish there were a way to choose the colors you receive. (If there was a way to choose, I must have missed it.) Still, great fun and a great way to take a little break at the park, and for little kids, these can be easier to catch than a ball, and just as fun.

High Visibility Solid Parachute
I like the rip stop material that is used for the parachute. The netting in place of traditional strings allows for a fuss free pack and guaranteed successful opening when launched. I am using the Aeromax 2000 attached to one of my RC Airplanes and when at high altitude I can remotely drop the Aeromax 2000. We had around 10 awesome RC drops and the high visibility color worked great. At well over 500 ft we are able to track it's movements and follow it's path directly to the ground. What a lot of fun and we haven't even shown the kids yet. Seems durable and with proper care should last awhile if I don't lose it during a higher altitude drop. So far it's great and was worth a little more investment than the other parachutes. I can't see how a child would be entertained with this by hand launching. It does not gain much altitude by a just hand throw. I also have a Hyper Dog Ball Launcher that will probably be a good idea when I am not using my RC Airplanes and might be useful to those parents who are purchasing these for the kids. Otherwise expect to throw your arm out appeasing the many requests from the younger ones to throw it as high as you can.
