Great Boomerang!
I ordered this and the Speed Racer Fast Catch Boomerang at the same time and they both work great. They fly very differently but they are both great for lots of fun with our kid. They are both very light weight and vert sturdy, so if they hit something hard they are not likely to break.

Be patient, you'll end up loving it
This is my first boomerang. I never threw one before. I also purchased a "Mantis" boomerang from "Legacy Boomerangs" website which is supposed to be better at round tripping. I played w/ the Mantis until after a couple of hours I managed to have it return back. I was excited. At one time the Mantis got stuck on the tree so I started using the Polypropylene Pro Boomerang. I actually love it more than the Mantis! :) After getting used to it, I have a higher success rate to throw it and have it return. Because it is a bit heavier than the Mantis, it works great when there is wind. It is really fun. I totally recommend it. It works after you get a hang of it. Be careful, it can hurt badly if it hits someone, so practice when there are no people around.

Takes practice .
This boomerang is very durable polypropylene and highly visible bright orange . I don't recommend for beginners . These traditional shaped boomerangs are more challenging to throw and make return than the 3 and 4 bladed ones . This boomerang has some basic throwing instructions molded right into the plastic on the back . Overall , this is a nice boomerang , but takes a bit more skill .

I love this boomerang!
Threw this boomerang and caught it on the first try! Really easy to use (read directions first!). One issue that came up was its long range (20-30 yards .. 60-90 feet) which we needed to find a bigger space (since it got stuck in the trees). Other than the trees issue, though, the boomerang was PERFECT. I bought the scimitar (which is great for nighttime throwing), but love this one even more since it's very reliable once you figure out where the wind is coming from. Hot: Flight is smooth and doesn't change, easy to throw, caught it on the first try! Cool: Made of durable plastic (crashed into a tree a couple times and it's okay!), feels like a good weight not too heavy or too light Not so hot: Long range makes it hard to throw in a small space

Works well, fun to play with might not last
A lot of fun, and pretty easy to use- my son watched a video or 2 of how to properly throw a boomerang and was doing pretty well right away. Unfortunately, he pretty quickly got it stuck in a very high tree branch. We were able to shake it loose using a bouquet of helium balloons LOL (it was his bday ). The bad news-- when it fell from the branch, it came through another tree and snapped in half when it hit it. Sooo, that was unexpected. That said, he had so much fun with it, and was so bummed, I ordered him a replacement the next day. We wound up ordering another one a day later to give as a gift for my other son because it was so much fun. Long story short, it's a fun toy, it works well, but thrower beware, if you are even a little bit close to any trees at all, it could end badly. But totally worth it.

Great product
This boomerang is the best one I've bought. Much better than the other two I had previously tried.

Flies Great and So much Fun!
Fun...so much fun...but you got to give it some space. I didn't want to wait till I had space, so I put it in a tree. Got it down, didn't learn much as I found a device to get it out. So I keep throwing and land it in the tree but higher this time. Barely could get with my device, but didn't learn...kept throwing. Got it in the tree again but much higher this time. No device long enough to get it this time...please bring a helicopter. Short story, you need a big open area about the size of a baseball field.

Disappointed
It may be us but neither my husband nor I can get this boomerang to work. We go by the instructions, we've watched videos from the pros, tried different techniques but it never comes back to us. Maybe if it was lighter weight and a tri-blade instead of a double we could get it to work. Or, if we were throwing it into tornado force winds...then maybe. I wouldn't purchase again.
