Ride Lower, Feel Higher! 🏍️
The Mustang 1-Piece Lowdown Touring Seat is engineered to position the rider 1.5 inches lower than the stock seat on 1997-2010 models and 0.5 inches lower on 2011-2013 models, providing a more comfortable and controlled riding experience without the bulk of studs.

Great seat!!
I bought this seat this spring, and planned on using it on a trip this summer. I have a 2011 Street Glide. It took me about 500 miles on it to really get used to it, and " break it in " I don't know if this is normal, but this was my personal experience with it. I have rode well over 150,000 miles on long trips over many years on stock seats. I have used everything from sheep skin covers to gel pads to assist in making the ride more comfortable. It helped, but always had a sore butt, and was fairly stiff, as most people are on a long trip. My plan was to use this seat on my trip this year, then put the stock seat back on afterwards. I put about 3,800 miles on in 10 days of traveling with this seat this year. I'm not going to say it works miracles, but wow, what a difference. The longest day I rode was about 750 miles, and still felt pretty good after getting off the bike for the day. My wife loves it even more than I do. It's much wider for the passenger, and much more comfortable than the stock seat. My wife rode 300 miles one day with me, with the stock seat and had a pretty sore and stiff butt, which is why I bought this seat before our trip this year. Well worth the money in my opinon. I'm going to leave it on the bike and store the stock seat. It's kind of bulky looking in relation to the sleeker stock seat, but it's still a nice looking seat, and way comfortable. I would recommend it for any one who likes to travel with a passenger.

Nowhere near as comfortable as a stock HD Ultra Limited seat
I returned it.1. The seat was too stiff.2. The back section of the driver seat rubbed against my backside causing a friction-induced hot-spot.3. Not compatible with the HD backrest I already own (Mustang discloses this prior to the purchase)4. The narrow front was functional, but also exposes a section of your gas tank that is probably a little scratched up from the stock seat5. Nowhere near as comfortable as a stock HD Ultra Limited seat, yet only a little bit lower. For me it was more practical to just buy a thick soled shoe than live with this fairly uncomfortable seat.

Amazing seat for short people.
I’m a short rider, 5’6” with a 27” inseam. On my ‘19 Road Glide Special this seat puts me flat footed. It does move you up quite a bit and I needed to extend the floorboards out to compensate. My wife finds the passenger cushion to be extremely comfortable as well. The only two things I don’t like, your nuts are much more susceptible to getting crushed between yourself and the tank and the way it looks. Both cons though are far outweighed by its comfort and build quality.

Better than OEM but not by much.
Looks good, used on my 2015 ultra limited. Drops you about 1/2" a little more comfortable than the stock seat. I'd say it's not worth the 475.00 but I'll use it for now. One would say I'm on the fence regarding this seat.

Mustang Low Down Seat
Received the seat very quickly. Put it on a 2014 Electra Glide and it was a perfect fit and was easy to install. It was a little firm (hard) at first, but after a 500 mile weekend trip, it seemed to soften up quite a bit. The guys at the Harley dealership liked it as well. None of them hade ever seen the Mustang Low Down seat, even though the dealership offers the same seat, but theirs is priced over $700.00. So all in all I got a great seat for a great price.

Not worth the $$
Bought this seat on reputation of Mustang seats to replace stock seat on my ‘09 Electraglide. I’m 5’6” so stock seat was too high and this was supposed to make reaching flat foot to the ground. They do not let you try seats , only to rest it on bike covered with a towel. Seat felt ok but after an hour or more of riding this seat is extremely uncomfortable and I’m stuck with it because I mounted it to bike. Most reviews were good and that’s why I went with this pricey seat.
