MSI board suddenly died so trying this Asus board as all the parts are fine. Booted right up and just finished the bios update. My error for looking at the box, it was not the right box. After a day of looking at how to videos on how the flash (even though I have 2 other Asus board I've flashed), reading forums, flashback, different dongles, then realizing that the box might not be right and it wasn't Great board so far running windows 11 Pro. Ryzen 2700x, Vega 56, 32gb ram. I love this setup, I've gotten many of my record survival times on l4d2 with this computer.

Nice board, gets the job done

Although I had no pressing need to do it, I decided to upgrade my desktop to a Ryzen 5600X CPU and I chose this B450 board mainly because its BIOS flashback feature, 256MB BIOS chip and price (for me the premium that the B550/X570 boards offer is a complete waste of money, I recommend to use that on any other component you might need or want). In my case, from my previous build I kept the case/chassis, drives and RX 5600XT graphic card. In order to get a system POST I had to upgrade the BIOS to Version 2807, but the process was simply and took about 4-5 minutes; RAM was recognized without issues (I got a TEAMGROUP T-Force Dark Z 2x16GB Kit). After that I was able to get into the BIOS I changed two things: 1) Enabled the DOCP profile for the RAM in order to have it running at 3200Mhz 2) Enabled secure boot in order to use GPT on Windows 10 Then, I installed Windows, it took a matter of minutes and everything was recognized without issues but I suggest to install the latest chipset drivers from AMD; I installed the OS on a M.2 drive and after the system is turned on Windows loads in just about 10-11 seconds, everything works flawlessly. So far I haven't had any issues, I'm very happy with the board and the general performance of the system, I don't plan to make any overclocking besides what I did to the RAM.

I haven't had any real issues with this motherboard so far. Looks alright in my case. I'm not a huge fan of the overall appearance of this board but the RGB lighting on the side is a nice touch of color. I had an issue with my previous board where the CPU slot broke and it wouldn't snap into place anymore, so I needed a decent budget board to replace it. And I didn't want to break my bank because I was doing a huge upgrade on parts already. My only issue with this board is that I couldn't fit both the fans in my case for my Noctua NH-D15 cooler. One fan does okay, but I could be getting cooler temps than I currently am if not for that. But overall, it's decent. If it wasn't so affordable, I probably would have opted for something else that had the clearance for my second fan. Cant beat it for the price. Works with Ryzen 3000 and 5000 out of the box. Has a little subtle rgb light at the bottom right. Have this paired with a Ryzen 5 3600x and RX 6700xt. The only thing bad I have to say is the IO shield is extremely flimsy and buckles away from the case.

Bought to replace a lower-end board that kept giving me BSODs every day. This thing is Beefy. It felt much heavier and sturdier and higher quality than the MSI motherboard I was using. The BIOS was super easy to upgrade and now I can run a Ryzen 5000 series CPU (when I can afford it). So now I'm running a Ryzen 5 2600 CPU, AMD RX580 8GB GPU and 32GB of DDR4 3600 ram. I really like that I can change the speed of the RAM in the BIOS. I don't OC, so no clue as to how that works. Overall a great board and would buy again.

Great older AMD mb mb was easy to work with and it didn't take me long to set up and install. Flashed bios then installed everything in case. I did have to add a pcie network card but that was nothing.

وصلتني المذربورد في خلال 3 ايام بالنسبة لمعالجات الجيل 5000 لازم تحديث bios عشان يشتغل ال pc الطريقة لتحديث ال bios : بعد التأكد من تركيب الكمبيوتر بالشكل الصحيح ووضع الاسلك في مكانها والتأكد 100٪؜ من سلامتها اذهب الى قوقل وابحث عن اسم المذربورد وادخل على الموقع ثم حمل آخر تحديث bios للمذربود لاتستخرج الملف الى في USB خارجي فارغ تماماً ضعه في ال USB استخرج الملف بعد استخراج الملف سيظهر لك ملف biosrenamer افتح الملف وضغط زر space لاتخف سيتغير اسم ملف موجود في نفس USB احذف ملف التنزيل الذي ضغط عليه استخارج قم بحذفه وابقي الملفيين المستخرجه ، عندها قم بفصل ال USB وضعه في فتحت USB BIOS المخصصه تأكد من تشغيل زر ال power لاتقم بتشغيل الكمبيوتر بعد الانتهاء من وضع ال USB في مكانه المخصص لل Bios اضغط على الزر Bios الموجود في المذربود اعلى قم بضغط عليه حتى تظهر لك إضائه خضراء انتظر حتى تتحدث المذربورد " تنبيه " لاتقم بفصل او قطع الكهرباء عن الكمبيوتر اثناء التحديث ، عند انطفاء الإضائة الخضراء ( قل بسم الله وضغط زر التشغيل ) ومبروك عليك تطوير جهازك 👍🏻

Es una buena placa, en general ha funcionado bien Sus puertos USB y posibilidades de expansión son muy buenas Además del pequeño detalle RGB que tiene en una esquina la hace lucir fantástica Aunada a un buen micro es una maravilla. La recomiendo.

Just had my psu die and it took my old motherboard with it which was an rog b450f this is a slight downgrade but still seems to be stable and at a great price, flashing the bios for 5000 series cpu was a breeze and seems to have good support for am4 cpus, overall Its a great buy.

Nice mother board

I am using it for gaming computer with ryzen 5000 series and it was super easy to update the bios. Just make sure to use the usb to flash bios instead of through network. Also make sure you have the right bios version in your root of usb and the correct name. When you are gonnna insert the usb - make sure there is a square around that slot says it is a bios usb entrance area.
