I was looking for a way to connect a 3rd monitor to my Thinkpad laptop, which only had a type-C thunderbolt port left unused. After looking through multiple types of cables and connectors, settled on this one based on price mostly, this was the cheapest I could find at the time. It came in just some soft plastic packaging, but well it worked out of the box. Using it with my 1080p 75Hz monitor over Displayport without any problems so far.

I wanted to connect my second monitor (3 including built-in ) and had no 2nd HDMI port or VGA port. So went for the type C to DP. Just ensure your laptop supports video out via type C port. For me, it worked.Also as in the pic, it's just a converter you still need a DP cable to extend the connection.

Got this product to connect my UHD (2K) monitor through a USB type-C port and it worked like a charm. Even though the laptop has a HDMI port, the monitor could only get a FHD resolution (even though the HDMI cable supports 4K). So had tp buy this to connect my monitor to a display port so that I could get the monitor to display with 2K resolution.The product is relatively cheap compared to other similar ones.

Works exactly as described at half the price of alternative options. Recommend.
