Kapro - 935 Magnetic Cast Red Torpedo Level - Features Optivision, Angle Finder, and V-Groove - For Tilling, Masonry, and Construction - 10 in

This has become my favorite level. Small, versatile, easy to read, and magnetized.Any day-to-day stuff, this gets used. I wouldn't recommend this for large projects, construction, etc. but for home use, I cannot find fault.

Dropped it a bunch of times, still works great. Only thing I'd change is the fact you can only view the bubble from one side. To fix that just adjust the angle finder to 0 but it really isn't a hassle to just place it face first.

A cool level. I purchased it from Amazon. They did not package it very well (it was loose in the box with another tool) and when I got it had scratches on it. Most levels are made from relative thin aluminum extrusions. This level is a die casting. My tool box is too heavy now.You can only see the bubble level from one because of the OPTIVISION blocks one side (not a big draw back)The angle finder is hard to adjust. It has a substantial feel and weight which I like (some may not) and it can take a beating. its attractive but that'tle probably change after a month on the job. easy to read and just the right size to use regular without being left behind. Id say put it away in the box you keep for your collector tools (don't lie, you know you have one).

Very easy to read, pitch vial works to the left or the right.

The magnets are strong and the ends of the level are well cushioned for falls. Easy to see and accurately made

Looks and works great but don't expect the magnets to hold it at 90 deg. on textured surfaces.

The good:This level is solid and accurate.It's a solid hunk of metal and virtually undestructable.The "red" bubble is cool and is easy to see.I have tested it against all my levels and it is spot on accurate-which is expected from Kapro levels.The bad (why i gave it only 4 stars):The angle finder in my opinion is useless when held on a level surface it is about 1 1/2 degrees off from zero.The markings on the degree finder are at every 7 1/2 degrees, not every 5 degrees not only as stated in the description but which is standard increments on every degree finder.Don't believe me look at the photo and see for yourself.But like i said this is a solid,accurate level that i expect to hold up to abuse and i do recommend it.
