American lifting floor jack
The American lifting for Jack is fantastic quality built Jack very happy with it. You need a lot of room for it to be used, but it is a incredible Jack. I would highly recommend it. It is so overbuilt. It’s awesome. Would not buy a cheap foreign jack.

Would not recommend
I was looking for a new floor jack to replace my 20+ year old jack that is starting to show its age. I purchased this jack based on its reviews and being made US made. The first jack arrived in in an inadequate, very beat up box. Not surprising based on its weight. The instructions were vague at best and suggested to make sure the jack was full of jack oil but did not give a clear idea of how to do this. After looking at the jack and the pictures in the instructions, it appeared it was referencing the vent as the fill plug also, I removed it, topped off the oil and tried to reinstall it, it would not tighten up and would leak oil while operating the jack. That was return number one.The replacement showed a few days later, again in a very beat up and this time oil soaked box. Again this is a very heavy jack, so not surprising. I unboxed this one, topped off the oil without issue and put it to work rotating tires on my lifted Jeep. While lifting the Jeep I noticed that the Jack was only lifting when the handle was at roughly a 45 degree angle to the ground, down to parallel to the ground, also note that the jack handle is a single steel bar about four feet long. This is manageable while working in the driveway or in a large garage were you have adequate space around the vehicle, my garage is not that large. So based on the jacks cost and function it wasn’t the jack for me.Don’t get me wrong this is a very heavy and well made jack, it was slightly larger than my old jack. I had high hopes for it and I really wanted to like it but based on price I couldn’t justify trying to make myself like it so I returned the the second jack.I have not decided on a replacement yet.

Not the cheapest but a great value!
I strongly second the "Monster Jack" guys review. This Jack is a beast! If you are not looking for the absolute cheapest jack out there and are willing to pay a little extra for quality, this is the jack you want to get. Compared to harbor freights top of the line 3 ton jack, for a mere $60 more, you are getting what I measure to be 5/16" plate steel for side plates, a cast lifting arm, (vs. everything made out of what is probably 1/8" sheet metal) an amazingly precise release valve controlled with a universal joint twice as big, I have no reason to believe this jack won't outlast me. The only downside of all of this is it is heavy but the wheels couldn't roll or maneuver better. It seems pretty fast too. I first used it to jack up a minivan and from the time I make contact with chassis, it seemed to take no more than 3 or 4 pumps to get the wheel off the ground. All that with at least final assembly in the USA.The only weakness I see is the packaging. It is a very heavy jack in not a terribly thick box and by the time I recieved it they styrofoam packaging inside was thoroughly obliterated. I think they are just banking on the jack being so heavy duty, nothing will hurt it. Also, the handle comes in a separate pack (understandably, besides the length making an excessively large package, you sure wouldn't want it packaged with the jack for the reason above), so I can see how this could easily get separated and lost in shipping as reviewers had issues with. However, I am very happy with my experience,

Heavy duty but SEVERLY lacking functionality
First off we received our jack and did not receive the handle to it. Since there is no way to just send a message to the seller... I had to order a replacement jack... wait a week for it to get here, then return the jack by taking it to a ups store ... I know shipping errors happen but... was a huge inconvenience .... we got the new jack up boxed the next day to find that one of the swivel wheels would not turn at all..... took it off and worked on it for about 45 mins to free it up, not sure if this was from shipping or not as it was packaged about as good as it could be in a card board box containing a 50lb jack.... now I really start looking at it... and try it out... only to find the pump arm doesn't contact the pump until the handle is down about 20 degrees up from the floor.. it makes for very short pumps that hardly lift at all... I didn't buy this jack for Hondas or anything low profile... this is really just annoying as we go out of our way to buy better made "USA made" ( or as USA made as you can get these days) products... I will be sending this jack back.. again....(the picture is the point where the handle contacts the pump) the handle also wants to fall backwards on its own....(I don't know if its suppose to be like this or if it got damaged or what) I'm very disappointed as the reviews looked great. I guess ill buy a US jack floor jack and see how they are.

Monster Jack
A Five star. This American Lifting 3 ton floor jack is super heavy duty and a very well made floor jack, and was offered at an excellent price. I have an older 2 ton Lincoln floor jack that I compared it to, and it seems identical. Other than a little bit longer and taller, and has thicker side plates. I used it to rotate the tires on my Dodge 1 ton crew cab long bed, and it worked well, and I was able to menovere it around the truck with ease. If your looking to purchase a good sturdy jack at a great price, than this is it. The only negative thing I can say about this floor jack is, its heavy!!!

Easy to use and hassle free …
Easily lifted my Suburban so I could take the rim off and in for a repair. I set the truck back down on jack stands for safety while I was gone, but the jack did a fine job of holding the truck up on its own. It’s just not a good idea to leave it on a jack unattended.
