Wow what a selection if colours you get. I have used a lot of the colours now and I can't rave about them enough. Pigment is amazing. Longevity of the shadows are great. All round a smashing wee palette to have in anyones collection.

Absolutely love this pallet! Some colours have slightly more pigmentation, however all colours are excellent! Love it!

The La Catrina (popular female skeleton character in Mexican Day of the Dead celebrations) ia a 54-pan (the pans are the size of a 10p coin) eyeshadow palette. It contains 29 matte shades, 5 duo/glitter pigments, 3 pressed glitters, 15 shimmers and 4 neon mattes. The biggest plus for this palette is that it can be used for a variety of complete eye looks, covering every occasion, season & major celebration; I see shades that scream Christmas, Halloween, Valentine's Day, Easter, down to a summer BBQ. There's shade combos for work, dates, weekend shopping trips with mates and parties/special occasions. I see it all here.I have liked the majority of looks I've created using these shadows, although some do need some shades do take extra work via layering. There isn't much fallout from the shadows, although there is a fair amount of kick-up. For the most part the pigmentation is nice for the price-point and there is minimal colour fading. The blendability is mostly good - though like with some other lower-priced eyeshadows, I've noticed that the Neon shades and the darker mattes can drag a bit at times - if you're patient they will blend out okay, just be warned that it won't always be a case of one pass and you're done. Also; layering a matte shadow over a shimmer one when shadowing the edges of the eye can be iffy to blend out.Quite a few shades end up looking pretty much the same after they've been applied and blended - I guess that's not really a surprise when it comes to larger palettes. I'd have preferred it if some of the close-matching shades hadn't been included and they had expanded on the more neutral shades a bit, since they'll be the most used shades for the majority of people. Neons, red, purple, blue & green are the most difficult pigments to work with when it comes to eyeshadow formulation, so you do need to expect dryer formulas and the odd bit of staining. These kind of shades generally do need a little more patience & time with application - this goes for any brand, it's not just a issue with this palette._Im a bit of an eyeshadow snob, so the formulas here don't live up to the quality of my favourite higher-end brands,but these ones are far from the worst I've tried [I'd say that they're on the level of Kylie Cosmetics and Morphe non-collaborative palettes]. I'm fond of the wide ranging colour story and every time I open the palette, new combination ideas hatch in my brain - you won't do the exact look twice for years with this palette. As I'm not wildly blown away by the formulas for this palette, I can't say that you need to rush out and buy La Carina. However if the colour story is calling to you, then you can make everything work well enough, and you will be unlikely to regret adding La Catrina to your collection.

The media could not be loaded. This eyeshadow pallet really is something!! The colours and pigments and amazing!! There’s a good range of powdered opaque, glitter and a few cream based shades. There is also pale neutral base colour and other colours that can be used for daytime wear. The colours can be built up, to create intensity.They blend really well and apply really well too. You don’t end up with glitter all over your face after application on your eyes too which can happen with some eyeshadows. The shadows don’t fade either during wear as I’ve found this to be a real issue with other shadows I’ve used previously. They start out looking nice and by a few hours later the pigment has faded and the finished look you had started with so it’s never stayed the same. You seriously don’t get that with these eyeshadows. I’m looking forward to seeing what looks I can create with them!!

This set is so exciting, i'm no makeup artist but i'm so happy with the results of this set. It leaves me looking forward to getting a shower so as i can reapply and see what else i can come up with! There are sooooo many combinations possible.I am a huge lover of moon and stars so the little gel like eye shadows containing moons and stars are probably my favourite. In the photo i have put them below my brow line. I didn't even use a makeup brush because i've lost the thing. They went on so easy just with my finger tips and i was expecting one to land in my eye and give me a poke but nope, these glistening shapes are thinner than thin and if i did get one in my eye i didn't notice it.Next to try is the array of beautiful green shades, i just love the colour green. This whole set has me super impressed, majorly! They go on smoothly, feel light on the eyes and look amazing! They've great pigmentation and stay on for ages. I think this is the ultimate set for having fun with and making the most of my eyes!
