These were slightly more expensive than some I looked at but I like the weight and pattern of these book ends and they will hold my paperbacks easily. I have only given 4 stars as, disappointingly, one is not finished as well as the other one, I believe it is to do with the paint layer as the tree on one is quite flat and the other one more rounded. If it had been for a present I would probably have returned it but as its for my own use and I really like the design, I won't.

They look great and do the job of holding a set of books up extremely well. I use them for a complete set of paperbacks on top of a set of drawers, and they are perfect for that.

I read that these were not very sturdy but they are currently holding-up some very heavy books on my shelf so not sure where that has come from; they are excellent.

I am really impressed by these book ends. They look really stylish and they are heavy enough to keep a substantial shelf of books in place. Good value and delivered on time.

Good robust bookends. They look good and do exactly what they are designed to do. I bought them for my books (those I wrote) and am very pleased with them. I would recommend them.
