The Michelin, foot tyre pump arrived on time and in good condition. Thanks, Amazon (Au) and Australia Post for a fast delivery. Fortunately, Amazon (Au) had this pump on a deal, at the same time my old Michelin pump was starting to show its age. I have used Michelin pumps for quiet a number of years and have found them to be dependable and long lasting. I, primarily, keep the pump in the car boot (in all temperatures), in case I get a flat tyre. I wouldn't use this pump to regularly inflate car tyres (it's too slow and exhausting). I occasionally use it, at home, to inflate cycle and wheelbarrow tyres. Metal and plastic components are used in the construction of this solidly built pump. The plunger travels smoothly (I lightly grease the plunger stem for ease of use and to minimise wear and tear). There are no air leaks between the plunger the pump barrel, pump barrel and hose, hose and connector. The connector fits and seals well to the tyre valve. The pump is easily locked closed, by turning the stop at the end of the legs. The pressure guage is only a guide to the inflated pressure. It doesn't replace the need for a precision pressure guage (if required). Care should be exercised, when using the pump. It is not particularly sturdy, in operation (the "price" paid for a compact foot pump). The pump can topple and "kick", unless your foot actions are balanced and in line with the pump action. Slow and surely is the way to go, here. A good compact pump for those occasions we dread: flat tyres.

Good product but does not justify cost of 1700/-. Unfortunately you won't find better than this. I looked at many other similar products and reviews, and this seem better. Satisfied as you won't see any oil/grease leakage from cylinder. Is clean and easy to use. Can fill Cycle Tyre in 4-6 pumps. PROS: - Good and clean Design - Sturdy - Has rubber attachments at bottom of legs for better grip. - Locking mechanism to keep it closed. CONS: - The extensions provided are of PLASTIC. The threads of those plastic gets damaged so easily and you have to handle it with upmost care. However, it won't last for couple of months. Did not expect such CHEAP thing from this brand. Also the box found was already open & torned. This is the only reason for 4 star.
