PG Banshee Norn Gundam
The Banshee is my favorite Gundam! The thing that sucks about the Banshee and the Phenex is that Bandai doesn't give you the proper color out of the box. With the Phenex you can pay more for the gold-coating versions, so I almost always paint my Banshee Gundams black, like in the anime. With the PG, I started out with black, and then realized with the scale, I wanted to go ahead and experiment to get that deep, purple like color on the box. It looks too plain as black. It took me alot of trial and error without an airbrush; but I used grey primer, Tamiya semi-gloss black, Tamiya Gun Metal, Tamiya Rubber Black, and Tamiya Deep Metallic Blue in light coats. Then I applied Tamiya Pearl Clear. It gives it a glitter like effect. The Tamiya Gun Metal enhances it. It looks amazing in bright light. Word of caution, I did get too much paint on some parts that turn in the transformation, so they broke. I ordered parts from gundamreplacementparts in Japan. It's expensive, but I love this gundam! Next time I do this I know to mask out the joints, and turning parts better. I painted the inner frame Tamiya Metallic Black. Note that you must put the inner frame together first and then paint it. Otherwise, things could break. I also used Tamiya Gold on some inner frame joints that show, like the arm pit area. I used Tamiya Matte Black on the feet. Oh I used Tamiya Pearl Light Blue on the shield vent like parts. The LED is the KOSMOS LED from China. It gives you 8 light settings, and you can adjust the brightness. The only thing I don't like about it is setting 4 is supposed to only light up the eyes. It doesn't work on this set. Otherwise, you get all the light settings of the Bandai LED, except the eyes lighting up on this LED. Technically it should be all 3 plus what KOSMOS has to offer. I have other KOSMOS LEDs and I will test it before installing next time. You can get some cool poses out of this kit; but because of it's size it's not meant for the dynamic poses like what an Exia can do. The gold crown hinders the movement of the head. I'm thinking to cut the back down on another build. File it and paint it back gold. ***Note: The kit can hold up the gun despite the weight! When I first put it together the gun sagged, and I was sad, but after 2 days of googling I learned that you have to push the arm in very, very hard onto the second tier of that arm joint. It helped that I painted it too; but I don't think it's necessary. On my PG Unicorn Gundam I did the same thing and they both can hold up their guns, as I show in my pictures. Also if you don't want to install the LED, all PG unicorn kits light up with Black Light! This is shown in the last few images with that weird bluish background. Also, I had a malfunction with the KOSMOS LED, so I had to take the kit apart and reinstall a leg LED. Once I put the connector in right, all the other LEDs came on. It sucked. I broke a piece that connects on the leg, but I was able to fix it with super glue and the other parts holding it together helped. Just remember to avoid installing the LED after it's built. If it's necessary you have to be very gentle and use a screwdriver or something to help you take things back apart. If you have any interest in the PG Banshee Norn Gundam, I highly recommend it! With the XC, the more rugged look of the V-fin, and gold crown it looks amazing!

Looks epic
Looks fantastic when built but it's not very posable and the LED kit is not worth it at all in my opinion
