Yes, it is waterproof!
So, I ordered 2 of these for my dogs' mattress covers but between them licking and my old lady cat who pees on everything, I needed waterproof. THIS IS IT! IT'S WATERPROOF! Soft, breathable, stays in place, doesn't slide around, it's fantastic! No smells, no crinkly plastic feeling or sound. It's wonderful. I don't have kids, but if I did I'd buy this for them too!
