Perfect Lead-In to the Upcoming Movie
The comic gives us a review of Natasha Romanova (Marvel insists calling her Romanoff. Romanov is a masculine spelling of the surname), the former Soviet spy who defected to SHIELD. It recounts highlights from her appearances in Iron Man/Captain America/Avengers movies and sets the table for the upcoming Black Widow movie. Included in this book are reprints of her first comic book appearance and several more from "back in the day". Fascinating to recall the artwork from those 12 and 15 cent comics of days gone by.

Not a complete mini-series
Just to be clear about what you're getting if you buy this - The new material in this is a two issue prelude which recaps Black Widow's appearances in the MCU films. If you've seen those films, you know everything in the story. The rest of this trade paperback consists of reprints of previous Black Widow stories. It's a good primer for a reader who doesn't know much about Black Widow, but if you're hoping for a new story, you may wish to look elsewhere.

Great Story
This story combines material from Avenger's Infinity War and Civil War to tell the backstory of Black Widow. The book goes deeper into why something occurred in each of those movies involving the Black Widow. Tales of Suspense (reprints) are also in this collected edition to further tell her story.

Black Widow Prelude
As the title indicates, this small book gives a good synopsis of events leading to Marvel's Black Widow movie. It also includes early Marvel comics where Natasha was first introduced and had her first adventures.
