So far so good!
They work well for protecting your fingers. No issues getting them on just make sure you get the right size!

It's okay.
Edit: You know, I just found a set of ergo needles on amazon that are like $6 at regular price. Just go get something like that instead of these.I needed this for now for a smaller needle so I was able to get it on, but no, I don't think I could get it on something bigger than a 4mm. I have only used it for a few minutes and I think it is very slippy. If I need to come back and change that assessment once I've broken it in, I will. Looking at it, though, I think I could solve that by cutting it in half. That would work for me because I only need the cushion where my fingers are, not where it hits my hand, but that may not work for everyone.

For what these little foam tubes are used for, they're really nice .
What these little foam tubes are used for is perfect. Just read the suggestion about applying them to your crochet hooks.

Use A LOT of lubricant to put these on!!
So, these certainly do make your crochet hooks feel better to use, especially for long periods of crocheting. BUT—putting them on your hooks is quite difficult, (and painful!) especially with larger sized hooks! The instructions say to use dishwashing liquid to lubricate the hook before putting these on. That did NOT work for me! So, instead of that, when I went to try to put the second one on another hook I tried some silicone-based lube. A lot of it! Both on the hook and as much as I could force down inside the cushion piece. With that, it slid on with ease! These are definitely a more affordable way to make your hooks more comfortable to use, but I actually prefer the larger, bumpy(?), foam ones I found here on Amazon. They’re both more comfortable to use, and they slide on the hooks so much easier (and without using all your lube!).
