DISNEY FLK03 Car Racetracks For Boys 3 Years & Above,Multi color

Was a present for my grandson for his birthday and he loved it. But the launcher button broke on it after a couple of hours of him playing with it. My husband managed to fix it but it went again not long after. One upset grandson now. Think this should be made a lot sturdier it’s a toy after all for young children and not exactly cheap.

Decent enough product, the car is cool and there are two tractors to jump as well, a bit of an assault track.Pretty easy to put together, but did mean I had to get involved myself as it wasn't simple enough for the kids to do themselves. Not too much ingenuity required, this mum can do it - therefore anyone can.The novelty of this wore off quickly, we were playing with it and then my son disappeared off and never came back. Clearly not captivating enough. He hasn't really gone back to it again since, though my daughter does still look at it suspiciously like it is going to take off. She is a dreamer.It got old quick. It doesn't really have stayability as a toy but it is a nice one off for 10 minutes or so. Probably a good job to be fair, I don't rate the quality particularly highly and with my sons rough hands sometimes, he would probably break it in a quick space of time if he was using it often.Not too exciting but not the worst toy he has owned either.

We had an afternoon trying this out with an eight-year-old boy and his toddler brother. Two adults set to erecting the track, with advice from the older child. He could not have done it alone. His younger brother was fascinated by the tractors, who, once clipped into their positions, career around the tractor turning circle, occasionally leaving room for the hot wheels car to zoom through. The instructions are not easy for a child to follow. There are stickers to apply to the track sides and signs.The action required by the player is to press hard down on a detonator style switch. Too hard, and the car flies over the track to the other side of the room, not enough push and it doesn't reach the tractors. Mastering this takes a while and then you get the right amount of push and have to calculate when to send the car along the track, so as to avoid the tractors. Good fun for a while. Not necessarily a perfect Christmas gift, unless you are prepared to help with the setup.
