I was looking for some tape or adhesive to stick a carpet on the wall. Tried buying several carpet tapes but all of them used to fall off after few hours of sticking.Finally tried using this velcro and selected it just because of the claim that it can hold loads of 4.5kg per strip.And the claim found to be true 👍.Suggestions:Better to stick the soft strip of velcro on the carpet and the rough strip on the wall or hard surface. This will help in easy detaching the carpet when required.Also I applied the velcro tapes to the respective surfaces of carpet and wall and kept it to cure separately for almost a day before sticking the carpet on the wall. This helped the adhesives on velcro tapes to stick to the respective surfaces forming a strong bond. Else there is a possibility of the velcro tape to peel off from the carpets surface.

Is holding up some magnetic blinds for me

Holding up well in the trunk of my car with the summer heat/sun beating down on them, recently pulled the cargo liner out to clean it and they are as if I just installed them, no signs of movement or goo seepage. Have had two 80lbs+ dogs putting them to the test and I am quite satisfied with their performance

I use this tape to hold up my address on some stone! So far it has been on there a month and I’m very happy with the product. Make sure when you put it on you apply pressure for at least a minute before releasing.

I have a 40 year old used leather jacket I wear on rainy days. The big buttons came off and I haven't tried to find a tailor to fix them. One of the four buttons is still on the jacket, so I decided to just get some velcro for the rest of it. Is it perfect and stay shut completely? No, but that's fine with me. It holds the jacket somewhat closed. But, does the velcro come off having been beat on by rain and wind for now over a year? Nope. Its on there permanent. So, result: not the strongest velcro when it comes to holding things together, but if you want all weather velcro I have no complaints.
