Used with a yeti x. Wouldn’t hold the mic. Kept dropping. I tightened it as much as I could. Ended up breaking it. Didn’t even have it two weeks.

The boom was totally as advertised and to improve matters, the boom was shipped ahead of the anticipated really making my son’s Christmas.

Okay. When you receive this product, go to YouTube and find the video of the guy that tells you how to set this puppy up (TITLED: How to tighten the Blue Compass Boom Arm with ease), because this boom does NOT come with any helpful instructions AT ALL.It was absolutely confusing and I could see why people complained about this boom not staying put or lifting/moving. If you don't set it up correctly (and how could you when there are no instructions), it will absolutely do ALL these things.Now... It WILL feel like it's fighting you the whole damn way... But stick with it. Once you put your microphone on, it will stay put. My boom holds my Yeti up perfectly. It's oh so sturdy. Not like those coil arms that will weaken with time. This is heavy duty stuff. So sleek and professional looking. Worth every penny.

A pesar de que existen mas opciones con un costo mas accesible, este Brazo definitivamente luce mejor esteticamente hablando; se siente de buena calidad y funciona sin problema, tengo un Blue Yeti X edicion World of Warcraft y no tengo ningun problema lo sostiene perfecto.Al principio no supe como acomodarlo pero despues vi el tornillo de la base y ya pude moverlo libremente, super sencillo, y de buena calidad, recomiendo que si para ti la estetica es importante esta es la solucion

Compre este brazo para un microfono RØDE Podmic.Lo he estado probando algunos días y estoy bastante contento con la calidad del producto, esta muy bien construido, se ve sólido. El Podmic pesa casi 1 KG y el brazo lo sostiene sin problema, además es bastante ajustable, tiene un muy buen rango de giro y es bastante fácil el montaje.Es un poco caro, pero cumple con lo que promete.

J'ai acheté cet article pour pouvoir manipuler comme je le voudrait mon blue yeti sauf que quand j'ai commencé son installation j'ai remarqué que l'articulation principale de se bras était tendue a fond sans aucun moyen de le désseré après recherche plus approfondies j'ai appris que s'était quelque chose de courant et qui serait peut être due a un défauts de fabrication et que les personnes s'ayant fait remplacer un bras ayant se même problème en aurait reçu un avec encore le même problème donc n'acheté pas se produit sauf si vous voulez tentez de perdre 109 euros.

Blue's Boom Arm is one the nicest looking boom arms on the market as of right now and it's made out of quality materials unlike the more inexpensive options. Since this is a fair review of the product I do just want to put a disclaimer that this boom arm isn't for everyone, or the best option for every mic setup. This arm is mainly for heavier mics and worked really well for my Blue Yeti X.Pros:-Standard, sturdy desk mount (clamp)-Free, almost frictionless design for the swing motion of the arm.-Has little diagrams on the arm itself in a form of a sticker for basic info-Matte black paint job-Feels like they put some premium materials into it-Tension is highly adjustable.-Cable management routing systemCons:-The cable routing system won't fit thick cables as it seems very narrow.-Expensive-The value for this mic is only achieved for a certain amount of microphones-Branding on the arm. (Don't mind it, but I know some people do)
