Aloha Sunset Pancake Mix-Chocolate Coconut, 6-Ounce Bags (Pack of 12)

Save your money. This overly sweet, all-in-one mix has very little banana taste and an uninspiring, mealy texture. No one in Hawai'i (family's been there 130+ years) would mistake these for real Hawaiian-style pancakes. Adding mashed overripe banana and a tablespoon or two of crushed mac nuts to ANY cheap all-in-one pancake mix would cost less and taste far, far better than this disappointment.

It was not overwhelming taro or nut, could even have used a bit more taro. Was sweet enough that I could probably have gone without syrup. When I make instant pancakes, I usually add a lot less water than it calls for, find them to be too runny and thin if I use the called for amount. This, I followed the instructions exactly, and was pleasantly surprised at the thickness it produced. Loved them and will be ordering again!

I love the pan cakes we had them why in Hawaii. Was very happy with the speed of receiving my order and will order more as I need them. It you have never had them you really need to try them

Didn't realise that there was allspice in the mix. It's so overpowering that you can't even taste the macadamia nuts at all.Will not buy again

I was so loking forward too recieving this package! But seriously how anyone can charge $$$$ for a package that only makes 6 pancakes is something too stay away from. The ingredients found are ones that you can duplicate yourself and you can use real ingredients and not artifical flavorings.

I was given a gift with this pancake mix & it was so tasty. I am not a huge pancake person but this has changed my taste for pancakes. I was really pleased to find it on Amazon, will be ordering it again & again. The Hawaiian Sun Premium Syrup Assortment is a great compliment with these pancakes.

I love this pancake mix. I used to buy it at Cost Plus but they no longer carry it. I can find it in the ABC stores in Hawaii and Las Vegas but couldn’t find it in Calif.

When I was on Kauai several years ago, I experienced the banana mac nut pancakes at Olympic Cafe and have been trying to recreate them ever since. I saw this premade mix and thought I'd give it a try. Paired with some coconut syrup and it's pretty darn close! I will order again!
