Amprobe 5XP-A Compact DMM with Non-Contact Voltage
For the price you cant beat it. I have an Amprobe the old analog type with clamps and i paid well over $200 for it back in the 80s.

Below average meter for the price
I'm an electrical engineering student, electronics hobbiest, and I've had this multi-meter for a few years now. This is a below-average multi-meter for the price. The Good:- Accurate. Within the tolerances specified. It hasn't gone out of spec. Although the more expensive meters are more accurate.- Sturdy. Feels good in the hands and has held up well.- Comes with a magnetic strip and removable rubber cover.- Battery lifespan is long.- Comes with a ceramic 1000v 315ma fuse.- Probes are rated for what the meter can handle.- Does micro and milliamp readings.- Rubber case comes with a probe holder and stand. The Bad:- No auto-ranging. I know this isn't an auto ranging meter.. but how they have implemented the manual range is quite clunky. When testing resistances, it's hard to tell what the actual value is due to poor decimal readings.- No frequency/temperature/capacitance testing.- Only 200ma readings. No option for 10a readings.- Continuity takes too long to register. 750-1000 millisecond delay on readings.- Probes are too short. They can be a bother in hard to reach areas.Overall this is an okay meter, but you can do MUCH better for another product in the same price-range. IE Extech 330, Amprobe 220.

Would recommend if this isn't an issue for you
Decent unit but returned as I didn't spot the max AC current was 200mA. Would recommend if this isn't an issue for you.
