Buy This One !!! - I've done your homework for you... If you need a cost effective, state-of-the-art, high quality grow light (for a ~ 2' x 4' area), stop soul searching and purchase the Maxsisun MF2000. In my opinion, it's pretty much the best combination of price, performance, and quality available anywhere. I have numerous HID, flourescent, and LED grow lights. The MF2000 will effectively replace a 400 watt HID, and will optimally cover a ~2' x 4' footprint. At 230 watts, it will consume about half the electricity (and, produce roughly half the heat) while doing so. As a moderately driven LED array, it should do this full time for about five years (which is a long time, measured in replacement HID HPS and MH bulbs) So, forget the cheap purple LED's, T5 fluorescents, COB's, etc. If you're interested in professional results, either use old school HID lighting (slightly cheaper, upfront), or go straight to one of the very latest LED quantum board lamps (such as the MF2000). Trust me. UPDATE: I've now put the MF2000 into service. Here are a few tips: - About the Remote Controller: Reassuringly, the MF2000 will work just fine with a conventional (24hr on/off) timer. And, the light intensity (eg, 50%) initially selected via remote will continue under subsequent on/off timer control (eg, 18hr/6hr). So, set intensity once and forget it - About Initiating the MF2000: Simply press and hold the remote control "ID" button while you click the red lamp switch to "On"; lamp will blink for 2 seconds; now release the "ID" button and you're done - all the remote functions will now work (the MF2000 instructions are a bit fuzzy here, but its actually dead simple) - About Hanging the Lamp: The MF2000 comes with a (four wire) hanging harness and a couple of rope ratchets. All good, except this combination uses up a lot (~20") of vertical space (which is at a premium in a 5' high tent). Solution: Use just two of the hanging wires (one per side), forming a loop between hanger points. Clip the included rope ratchet carabiner around the loop and hang as usual. (Maxsisun also makes an excellent 2'x4'x60" grow tent - ideal for the MF2000; see my review) - About Different Light for Vegging vs Flowering: Short answer - the MF2000 will work just fine for both. And - importantly - your ability to smoothly vary intensity from 10% - 100% means you can use the MF2000 right from seedling to final bud finishing. Combined with varying height above canopy via rope ratchets, adjustable intensity makes the MF2000 a simple and sophisticated grow lighting solution. (Technically, the MF2000 produces an extended light spectrum which pretty much encompasses all stages of plant life cycle needs, just like normal sunlight. So, no need for "red/blue" switches or MH/HPS HID bulb changes). (Thanks for reading. Hope all of this info helps you. Buying grow lights can be confusing. BTW, I purchased the MF2000 in normal fashion; this is an unsolicited review) Review: Worth the money - I bought this light as a starter for a new setup. I was pleasantly surprised how good it is, it’s clean easy to use, so easy to set up a child could do it. With that said here’s the amazing part the power consumption is as stated and so is the light output. I was so impressed that I bought another one and can see me running with maxsisun exclusively (no this isn’t a paid review and they didn’t give me anything to say this) what is important to me is the quality of light that hits my girls. I was not disappointed. This light runs dead silent no humming or buzzing but most importantly no issues whatsoever. The room the tent is in stays at 76 degrees and with a simple fan stays under 80 degrees

Worth the money
I bought this light as a starter for a new setup. Easy to use grow light with a quality build
First time buying a Maxisun grow light and to my surprise it has done a good job and has met my expectations. I initially was interested in the smaller grow light (sp1000) but opted out and considered to spend some more for future growing. As of now, I am using it for seed starting and early growing stages. Ive accuried a vivosun grow tent that I plan to pair and will update later. The different brightness settings work well and can only be controlled by remote. Heat sink works well and keeps the unit warm to the touch. Never had any issues with the remote acting up at this time. I mainly use the light at 10-60% brightness for roughly 12-16 hours. Ive noticed a slight increase in my electric bill, but nothing crazy. The bill is still definitely less than the summer months, while having the A/C on all day. Would definitely buy another unit.

Maxsisun is the “Dark Horse” of led grow light companies.
With so many companies popping up, making led grow lights today, it can be hard to choose. Maxsisun was the first company to show actual spectrograph test results. Their ppf claims aren’t the highest of all the quantum boards out there but a lot of that is actually due to all the other companies making false claims about their own lights and inflating ppf test results, etc. Maxsisun is an honest company and they offer one heck of a good led grow light at a reasonable price. Don’t get caught up in meanwell drivers, Samsung LM301b leds, etc. This light performs exceptionally well and and the build quality is that if a commercial class equivalent. I am using it as a veg light in a 3x3 tent, but it is suitable for flowering as well, though only for a 2x2 area, 1 medium or 2-3 small plants. The coverage for my application, though, is perfect. My only gripe with this light, and it is not significant as far as functionality or performance, would be the fit and finish. It’s minor to me, but it is worth mentioning. The aluminum is roughly ground at the edges of the heat sink in some spots and there are a few scratches on the top side. Maybe it’s just the light I received. It was packaged very well, so I’ll guess it was at the factory. I look at it as a work light. Rough around the edges maybe, but it’s performance results will speak for themselves. Again, nothing major or anything that affects the functionality, but that’s the only reason I rated this light 4 out of 5 stars. After the Amazon coupon and a promo code I found, the light cost me $107.00 after tax. The value is outstanding. Compared to Viparspectra, Mars, and Spider Farmer (all make good lights), Maxsisun beats them all when it comes to that perfect balance of value and performance. Update: It’s been over a week now since I started using this light. So far I am very satisfied. It’s extremely bright. The temp in my 3x3 has not changed form before I switched from a Viparspectra 600W led blurple, which is now for sale. I have now become a fan of Maxsisun. They are the “dark horse” of led grow light companies. They have surprised me with what they have to offer for the price point. I also like they keep improving their technology and coming out with new lights and better options. I plan on looking to them first when it’s time to buy my next grow lights.

Un producto de calidad, se nota que le pusieron empeño en hacernos llegar un producto que desde la caja da buenas sensaciones. Sin duda alguna compraré otro.

Upon arrival I had mixed emotions on the box it came in. I do appreciate all the info on the box and how nice the packaging is however it is pretty flashy so your neighbours might have a question or two haha anyways beyond that fact the box it came it was very nicely packed with lots or protection for the light in transit. The light itself is absolutely beautiful! It definitely has a solid build! I love the fact that it has a heat sink unlike the Mars hydro models that are a similar build style. I’ve had it running for 2 days now and haven’t gotten above 28. I have it set up in a 4x4 tent right now with only it plugged in, IT LIGHTS UP THE WHOLE TENT! Would 1000% recommend this to be your only light in a 2x4 or 3x3 tent! As it will definitely give you the amount of light you need! The remote is also I very cool feature! With options to dim the light/group of lights from 10% - 100% there isn’t much more you could ask for! Overall all a really great quality light! Well worth the money!

For a first time indoor grower it can be difficult in filtering through all the info and options available. I had purchased the PB1000 for a 2x2 tent Oct 2020 and now I've got the MF2000 for 3x3 tent. both work great and are bright AF. Having used these lights at these price points and then looking at others available, i'm not sure i could justify the extra money. I'm no expert but my plants are thriving...just sorting out a nute issue but that's for me to figure out.. Customer support has been great too. Amazon chat seems to be less than 24hr reply. Remote on the mf2000 is a bonus.. assuming i don't misplace it. Haven't flowered yet, but vegging at 60% and don't foresee a problem.. i see growth daily. Definitely recommend this light. Only issue I have, is it has literally been on sale almost everyday after my purchase. So i feel a little jipped there. good light though. #rambleon

Bought the 2000w for $254 and couldn't be happier. Much brighter than my 600w HPS just a smaller footprint. I'll need one more to fully cover my 4x4 but at that point the light will be equivalent to 3 600w HPS so it's very much worth it. Plus, running 2 of these bad boys use's less energy than the 600w HPS as well. win, win. For all the people complaining of heat, try having some air movement across your canopy and exhaust your tent properly. Not sure why so many people are complaining of heat issues, runs much less hot than my 600w hps and heats the tent up less, soo...........just buy the light, it's good.

THE BETTER THE LIGHT THE BETTER THE YIELD. Out of all the lights I have purchased, I haven't been more impressed than I am with the Maxisun brand and quality. It definitely has all the proper components for smooth operations. The heat sink is much thicker and the driver has a remote that would make this very helpful if you want to daisy chain many units together. Each one can be adjusted to its own brightness. I can continue to say many good things about this light and I can not seem to find any bad features. Now that I have had the light for 5 weeks my true opinion is that 1 day after the allowable return date the light stops working. ALL large LED SF style lights I find have prob lems. Use only Spider Farmer or Phlizon for best performance. I have switched to a High Intensity Light a 600 watt High Pressure Sodium and then a Metal Halide to flower with. I am totally impressed by how much faster the plants grow. Every video and everything I have ever heard always says that LED's are OK but HID's do much better. My buddy gets nice buds in his tent in a bedroom on the main floor using LED's but much harder to achieve the same outcome when using an unfinished basement with a tent. Maxisun is a piece of JUNK. WARNING WARNING WARNING stay away from this light it is nothing but a pile of garbarge The company does not respond and neither does Amazon. I am PISSED ,gabage warranty NON EXHISTANT. C'mon Amazon get back to me 343=984=7733
