Fantastic little watch for watch geeks
What’s not to like? You can’t buy a Swiss chronograph with a column wheel actuation for under $3000. Yet here we have this beautiful small chronograph with a column wheel that runs beautifully and has EXCELLENT hand wind action and button push feel for chronograph functions. It actually made me doubt why I paid $7,000 for a Speedmaster 3861, or $2,500 for a Speedmaster date reverse panda when you can have something this great for an affordable price. It’s not Speedmaster moonwatch level of course, but it makes me wonder why spend more? This one sits on my wrist better and has a charm that I can’t describe. The acrylic domed crystal adds a beautiful warmed to it but surprisingly still wears very small and perfect for my 6.25” or 16cm wrists. I don’t know why it took me so long to buy this. Out of the box +14s a day but regulated to +3s a day. Thanks,

Better than you might think.
The media could not be loaded. It's a beautiful watch, built with really neat attention to quality and details. You won't regret if you buy it, I just can't take it out of my wrist. It comes with a spare strap and a small tool, in a nice box.

Good quality watch
Watch comes with a couple bands, tool to change bands, cleaning cloth, instructions, and some kind of warranty card that's kind of a mystery. At first the chronograph would not work but some button presses and a little work and everything seemed to start behaving correctly. I assume it was put together and no adjustments were done.Overall, it seems to be a quality watch and a great looking watch as well.

Overbanking movement
From the graph you can see a very erratic trend. As soon as you approach about 70% from full wind, the balance wheel starts to over-bank. Meaning, the impulse jewel hits the pallet fork on the other side. This is because the main spring in this movement is over powering the train of wheels. Requires thinner main spring. I have to ‘half-wind’ the watch 2x a day to prevent this from happening. Time keeping is excellent when stationary, but as soon as there’s movement on the arm during active day, it gains a lot of time +\- 20sec a day.I absolutely love the watch’s look and feel and size. The 38mm acrylic crystal option was the best option, even on my 7.3inch(18.5cm) wrist.

Great Value, Cool design
This is a neat watch. It has a classic appeal and a very neat design. The wind up design prevents the need for batteries however we’ve found ourselves resetting it each time it’s worn. This is a watch that is used for special occasions so it’s not to much of a big deal but if I were going to wear it daily I might be more concerned.

Interesting watch, great value
Very nice looking watch! Every time I wear this watch, I get compliments and/or questions. I like sharing the history about the Sea-Gull movement. The chronograph is simple and works without issues 9due to the good engineering of the ST1901 movement). The watch is a good value for its price point and definitely one of the most interesting watches in my “collection”.

With Swan Neck Regulator
So far, so good. Does have swan’s neck regulator. This is what I wanted. I think this is a better value than the gamble offered on auction sites.
