Giggle TimeCandy Cane Pen with Peppermint Scented Ink - Tub of 36 Pens

My wife loves everything Christmas. For many years now, she’s been giving out Candy Cane - peppermint scented ink pens to all of our friends and favorite people at places we frequently visit. Before I started to purchase these on Amazon — each year prior to my first purchase, my wife would grab hand fulls of these Candy Cane pens that had always sat at the checkout counter in our local drug store at Christmas time. Then out of nowhere, the store no longer had these pens on display. My wife was quite bummed, and asked if I could look on Amazon for these pens. She has always loved handing out these pens for so many years. Bingo, I found what looked like the exact same pens that were displayed at the drug store. My wife was thrilled that I was able to find them. But, she wanted me to be sure that these were the ones with the strong peppermint smell. Luckily for me, yes they did, and my search was over. One year, I don’t remember why I didn’t purchase our go to bucket of pens. Anyway, I purchased this other brand and much smaller package of Candy Cane pens. The red ink of the outside candy cane swirl design was rubbing off on the inside of its packaging. When I tried to remove one or two of the pens from the plastic packaging, my hands would turn red just trying to hold them. So, Wasting absolutely no more time and wanting to make my wife happy, I immediately placed a return order with Amazon, and I searched Amazon once again. Low and behold, there just happened to be this bucket of candy cane pens listed again. It was close to Christmas and stock was slim. I jumped at this bucket of pens whatever the cost. All in all, my wife was happy and our friends and acquaintances were happy too! Once again, my wife was able to return to yearly tradition. Myself, Each time we get a batch of these pens, my wife grabs one, and starts writing in her journal until it runs out of ink, then puts it somewhere on our Christmas Tree — then starts all over again with another one of these candy cane pens. This year, I’m going to make sure I buy enough of these early, instead waiting until last minute. I can’t say how they write, but I have held them and smelled them. They appear to be of pretty good quality and the peppermint smell comes almost as you take the little cap off to write. Since I have started purchasing this brand of pens, my wife and our friends have never made any complaints. So, I can assume that purchasing this bucket of peppermint scented candy cane pens will continue as a tradition for a long time to come!

The pen's themselves are a little thin, they aren't as thick and round as they appeared in the photo. They are a little on the cheaper end. Some of the pens smell beautifully like peppermint but unfortunately a lot of them do not. I was hoping these were the quality pens I had gotten years ago that smelled strongly of peppermint for years. They are a cute little gift if you want to give them out or attach them to presents. They aren't high quality but they are cute and fun and fairly inexpensive.

I had great hopes that these cute pens would write just numbered and vocable Some do some don’t Very unreable and frustrating I want to send them back those I still have after I have some to friends and by now in June there is no eucalyptus/peppermint smell ok

My 10 year old handed these out to his class and they were a hit. When you write on paper, the ink on the paper literally smells like peppermint! It works! And they actually write well too. I have used one of them and it's comfortable and effective. I think the price was decent too. I think less than a dollar a pen, but I don't recall.

My students really liked them and thought it was cool that they were scented!
