I’m a newbie the world of gel nails etc and used this kit along with Makartt Extension Gel (polygel) tube. As a beginner it is taking some practice to control the gel using slip solution. Having a few broken nails I wanted to try forms to create extensions. Good size range of poppits (i have small hands) & they are reusable if cleaned up after use. I found the paper forms best for straight forward extensions but the dual forms/poppits are brilliant for over filed sides or side splits/cracks. Altho i hvnt fully mastered manipulating the gel yet, in fact some were a bit of a lumpy mess, once cured you can file them to perfection. I already had a brush so haven’t tried their brush yet. Really loved the dual side sponge buffer nail file. It produces perfectly smooth finish prior to topcoat as it has the right grits. Iv tried to buy more but can only find buffer blocks. 😭 I would definitely recommend as v light and durable. Most importantly you need to avoid the gel bleeding onto sides or cuticle but as it doesn’t set till cured you can easily clean up mistakes. Don’t push the poppits down too hard on nail as the gel will squeeze out the sides. Plus don’t get gel too wet as it will cause white patches once poppit removed which can effect the integrity of the gel.
