Light, waterproof and easy to read. I always buy this brand. .GPS sometimes loses signal in the city, so these are a great backup.

I purchased this map for my first trip to Italy. My husband and I rented a car for a couple of days because we wanted to drive around the Sienna Region a bit and jog over to Pisa for a day. The map was somewhat of a help. . .but not much. Only because the road signage doesn't correlate to the maps. As a driver in Italy, you need to know the names and locations of very small cities and villages between your Point A and Point B. That's what the road signs display - not Highway/Route numbers like our U.S. maps. Many of these small cities and villages are not printed on this map and, therefore, you can very easily be driving in the wrong direction for miles before you realize it!

This was too small and too hard to read. I returned it.

What I needed.

This is just a fold out map of Italy. It only displays the major highways of the entire country.

This will come to good use in our travels. Detail and information is worth while and meets our needs adequately.

If you are drving the main roads of Italy, this handy map folds up and opens up and keeps its handy laminated shape. If you are looking for small villages, this will not work.
