I bought this vornado to replace my large size Vornado, It had 3x speeds. This one has 3x speeds low, medium, high with shut off on the last “click” dial. In comparison the large was metal and had a larger top “the circular fan of the Vornado. The materials are very different between the two. This one is super powerful medium size fan. I get the same relief and air circulation with this design vs the large. It was super easy to set up didn’t even need directions no tools ⚒️. Took maybe 3-5 mins to put together. Noise level is low and circulation and air quality is max level. I live in desert climate and this will get me through the summer with my ac combined. Full relief. I’m hot a lot so this works well for those needing extra cooler air in the room and/or direction at them. It’s got a plastic base, top and bottom with a metal pole connecting together. It goes with any room or home. Kitchen, bedrooms or living areas. Versatility. I’m not sure this model comes with a remote control. I love Vornados!

Love these fans, I own 2 of them. The noise level is about medium, not too loud. They cool down a room fast. The quality is really good, well built.

I read a few reviews of this fan, where people were complaining that it did not oscillate. It almost turned me off from buying this fan along with the high price tag. However, I read the little blurb about how it’s so powerful, it doesn’t need to oscillate blah blah blah., so I thought I’d give it a shot since I loved my previous Vornado.I have to say I love this fan. I have one window AC unit to cool my dining room and my living room. On really hot days it’s not quite strong enough to cool it to my liking. (which is Alaska like). I use the Vornado pedestal fan to push the cool air from the dining room into the living room and it works brilliantly! You can literally feel the breeze from this fan all the way across the room at 20 feet away. I worried it was not as powerful as my old fan since it seemed much quieter, but it is definitely more powerful.I have not tried to clean it yet so we will see it if my review changes after I try. But as of right now, I would highly recommend it even though it is a little pricey. Definitely seems worth it to me.

Have had several vornados normally there decent on the noise but this one sound like a turbine in my sons room
