Bio Heena Leaf Fresh Texture Shampoo and Conditioner With Color For Dark Hair

Firstly, please don't go by the green colour of the bottle in this image, as it's the same good old Bio Hennaleaf shampoo with an almost transparent orange/henna-ish undertoned shampoo that gives those faint orange/henna-ish tones at times visible only with prolonged use and against bright sunlight. It's supposedly good to prevent greying & to keep hair colour in your hair longer. Can't vouch for either as of now. For me this is shampoo that has changed the idea of shampooing for me exactly 15years back when I started using it - it's the 1st shampoo that didn't dry my scalp (have extremely dry skin) or my dry-brittle-hair & almost felt like glycerine over them. It have a sheen to the hair & my hair has not had much greying yet but that may be more of DNA than the shampoo - can't comment :-) Most importantly it's very suited for daily use, especially for summers, with it's henna cooling & especially if you do a before bath traditional warm oiling of your hair & an afterbath application of a little hair oil over the strands. For winters I may at times switch to a warmer tulsi based shampoo when this one feels like ice over the scalp.Overall a good friend for my hair & scalp for more than a decade - would vouch for it!

This is an incredible conditioner packed with amazing natural ingredients. As you pour it into your hand, you notice that it is quite viscose and more like gel. After applying the amount I use with my other conditioner, it seemed as if I hadn't applied enough so I applied more. It has a very different effect on wet hair in comparison to traditional conditioners. With traditional conditioners, you feel your hair is soft and silky with immediate application. With the Biotique conditioner, you notice the texture of wet hair. I was initially very doubtful about the Biotique conditioner but proceeeded to keep it in my hair for 1 minute as per the instructions. Once rinsed, again, I didn't notice any smoothness or silkiness. However, when I hair dried, it felt so soft and silky with a natural shine. It had that salon affect with paying for the salon treatment. I am really pleased with this purchase and would highly recommend it.

The conditioner I received today was open and not poly packed.. Moreover, the main carton was half open ..when I picked it in my hand the label and instructions leaf was vanished. It seems someone take it out from carton and used that.. I only found watery material That m sure they added to misguide me bcz the bottle was filled up-to mouth.. No bottle is filled up-to that much bcz air space must be left up on the content. Amazon wasted my money as there is neither replacement nor return. Okay. First things first, there maybe mixed comments regarding this product but this is my overall impression of this product offered by Biotique which is a very trusted brand.I was confused whether it would dry my hair out, but after using it, none of that happened. My hair is oily as well as my scalp. It did provide lustre to the hair and my hair felt soft too. I agree that it does not lather much which can be considered as a con but as this is a herbal product, as long as it’s job is fulfilled this can be neglected. As of now, I cannot comment on the colouring part as this contains only 2% henna so I am not sure whether the brown tones will come out and be visible. After conditioning my hair separately my hair felt the same as only shampooing with this one. It added volume to my hair and made it non frizzy. Talking about it’s scent, it is just pleasing. I am happy with this product as it not only works well for me but it is also herbal. So you can definitely give it a try. It just depends upon the hair type and works good for oily and thin hair like mine.It’s a thumbs up for this. 😉

Works very well and makes my hair really soft.. Only thing I don't like is the smell. It reminds me of old lady perfume.
