I use them for my first and second glass. By the time the third one rolls around I stop using them. The way I pour the third drink I'd probably swallow one.

Could I use these for iced coffee?

I guess you could use it for anything, however, these are designed to provide only limited chilling for alcoholic beverages which require less of a chill. Iced coffee I believe would need ice cubes in order to achieve the full chilliness required.
