Much duller than I was expecting.

This book was very informative. I thought I knew a lot about John Hughes just from watching his incredible films over and over again. But the insight from his peers, the people who worked with him and knew that side of him, was truly eye opening. Turns out, he was a bit of a chain smoking, passive aggressive, ultra sensitive artist. It’s not a book that makes John Hughes out to be a jerk, it’s just very open and honest. The relationship he had with John Candy was particularly touching. This book is amazing. If you have the means, I highly suggest picking one up.
