Q: Does the pump go inside? Can it be in the wAter?

Yes. The pump is located inside the fountain.

Q: Can you add a light to it?

You can add lights to it. You need to find the correct light that will work.

Q: Just recieved fountain and it has a small pin hole like leak/drip and will only hold water a couple days. Anyone know a good fix for this? Hot glue?

You know that stuff they advertise on TV where they build a whole airboat out of chicken wire and then apply their product? I used that in the spray on version and it worked great. Sorry I can't think of the name. I think hot melt glue will just come off since it won't get into the resin of the fountain and it's not water proof. Good luck!
