Good product
This oil cooler has been in my car for several months now and is working great. It will increase your oil capacity by about a quart though. When the engine is hot and you put your hand up against it it feels quite warm so that must mean it's doing its job.PROS:1)relatively cheap2)easy installation3)works goodCONS:1)did not come with mounting spacers, had to get nylon spacers at osh to hold the cooling unit away from the grill. then use zipties to mount it behind the grill.2)construction of the cooling unit seems non-robust, but should not be a problem since it should be mounted clear of debris and rocks

Do not recommend.
I highly advise against buying this product. The rubber lines and hose clamps have a tendency to either blow out or loosen over time causing all of your oil to shoot out. If your going to go with an oil cooler go with one with the thread in metal lines. Save yourself the hassle and heartache and stay away from this piece of garbage

Plastic threaded barb hose fittings
Kit came with plastic, threaded barb hose fittings to hook the rubber hoses to the oil filter adapter. Not something I want to trust the life of my engine to especially with heat. Will be replacing those for brass. The hose is half-inch, which fits the barbed fittings correctly, but is way too big for the fittings on the aluminum cooler. The hose clamps are really cheap and narrow. Two of them popped/stripped out. Just trying to tighten them down on the cooler. Had to replace them with better ones.

oil filter baseplate has a cutout that cuts stock oil filter seals..
once installed and sealed, it works great. engine temps kept in normal range when Id normally have an overheat condition (up steep hills, 104F day, 65mph, AC on)be very careful to get an oil filter with a flat, solid seal. EX Fram Extra Guard.Also keep in mind it might not be the stock size for the car (mine wasnt)a phone call to Hayden and I had the right size for my application.
