Interessante Infos zu den Charakteren und ihren "wahren" Hintergründen. Wer aber erwartet, dass die Mythen und Mythologien hinter den einzelnen Charakteren wirklich im Detail erklärt werden, ist leider falsch. Trotzdem für Fans der Popkultur und Marvel sehr gut zu lesen.

I love this book. It's smaller size gives my bookshelf a much needed break from those large, heavy oversized slipcased DK books, & Marvel Omnibuses. Interesting reading about the beginnings of the Marvel Universe going way back before recorded time to the coming of the Celestials and the origins of The Eternals. Marvel's version of Norse mythologies. Ancient Atlantean history leading up to the coming of Prince Namor, the Sub-Mariner. Doctor Strange. Iron Fist. Well illustrated with beautiful art. Interestingly written and a joy to read. Highly recommended for the kid in you from ages nine to ninety. A pleasant gift from the people of DK books.
