SEGA Valkyria Revolution - PlayStation 4

Creo que una estrella define perfectamente la opinión que tengo de este juego, y es porque esa estrellita valora los dos únicos elementos que valen la pena aquí, su música y sus gráficos, de ahí en fuera TODO LO DEMÁS apesta.Yo compré este juego esperando algo como Valkyria Chronicles, y ¡oh sorpresa! Lo único que tiene que ver este título con el mencionado es que se desarrolla en el mismo universo y que usan elementos narrativos establecidos en la serie "Chronicle".Pero aquí está la parte que nos interesa a los fans, este juego no se juega ni remotamente parecido a Chronicles, así que olvídate de los turnos, de la estrategia o de las infiltraciones tácticas, en Revolution te limitas a pegar-y-pegar-y-pegar-y-pegar-y-pegar-lanzar-un-especial-y-pegar-y-pegar-y-pegar...Esa carencia de estímulos en su modo de juego se extiende a la historia, que es tan olvidable e intrascendente como el número de parpadeos que realizamos al día.Tal vez si este juego hubiera salido antes de Chronicles; a finales de los 90's para Dreamcast; sería un título de culto, pero actualmente es un juego más del montón que no mereces atención alguna. Si de verdad estás muy ilusionado con el juego, te recomiendo que veas unos minutos de juego en YouTube antes de invertirle dinero a esta decepción en potencia.

El juego es bastante entretenido en cuanto a la historia que presenta y en lo dinámico del combate, en ocasiones se siente poco cuidado este últimos aspecto puesto que no presenta dificultad alguna en ciertas misiones pero en general es una interesante propuesta para sus raíces en Valkyria Chronicles como rpg táctico. El punto negativo a considerar es la constante pantalla de cargado que no siempre es lenta y tardada pero que sí se hace notar; otro aspecto que he leído es que se le critica "la cantidad y duración extensa de dialogo" al presentar la historia, personalmente no lo encuentro molesto o extenso por lo que me extraña leer este tipo de comentarios si consideramos otros videojuegos del género que sí pueden considerarse extensa la parte narrativa pero que no molesta...El empaque llegó algo maltratado y con el disco fuera de lugar pero fuera de eso, me encuentro conforme con la compra.

Es un cambio a la serie no fue tan bueno como uno hubiera pensado con un cambio en gameplay que es bueno a secas pero no le llega el nivel de las anteriores entrega, con mecánicas diferentes, dejando fuera un poco las demás entregas en un juego decente que si tiene una buena historia que cumple su cometido es divertido e incluso tiene permadeath le agreda un sentimiento de preocuparse por los demás personajes y pensar con un poco de estrategia, no es recomendable para todo mundo mucho menos para las personas que les gusta las entregas anteriores de la saga.El envió fue buen llego antes de lo pensado el empaque llego bien pero un poco dañado la caja externa del producto pero lo interno llego sin daños y el disco en su lugar.

This was one of the worst games I've ever had the experience playing. If you've ever played a Valkyria Chronicles game before, this is not them; they ended up changed the formula for this one. Instead of being a turn based strategy game it's now an even worse musou that makes you want to turn your console off as soon as you get past the 1 hour (exaggerating, I skipped it; even skipping took forever) and try out the new combat for less than a minute. It also really doesn't help that the art style is really unappealing, very disappointing.

First of all, the cutscenes are absolutely horrendous. Very slow, barely and poorly animated, and absolutely chock full to the brim with filler dialogue that serves nothing more than for each character to hit a line quota per cutscene. And worst of all, you can't forward through dialogue to speed things up. The story itself is okay, albeit very predictable, but it's told so horribly that it falls well short of entertaining.In terms of gameplay, the combat is slow and very repetitive. It starts off somewhat entertaining at first, but the game quickly starts to drag and the flaws of the combat really start to show after a few hours in. Hits a bad middle ground between Warriors-style mindless button mashing, and slow, plodding spellcasting. Your character doesn't even have combos; it's one button press, and your character goes off on a 5-hit uncancellable animation. When spellcasting, you pause the game to enter a menu, breaking the flow of combat, then time remains paused while your character casts the spell and hits enemies with it. This means that using spells literally turns the game into an endless stop-and-go while making you practically invincible.The levelling system is also horrible, requiring you to farm the same five or so missions over and over to get magic spells which you can either equip on characters or convert to EXP that you can use to level up your skills. The skill trees are also a mess and go nowhere, only serving to slightly increase your stats. And gear is virtually useless; you can only craft four pieces of armour that ever so slightly give you a small boost, but the effort required to grind the best materials is completely worthless as you can beat the game very easily without even thinking about gear.All in all, this game fails at being an RPG, or being an action game, and the story is told so poorly it's not even worth your time or money.
